Great Product. Very Easy to Use.
This stuff looks so nasty, but it is actually very easy to use. Also great because it protects the underside of the flooring from rising damp from the subfloor. The only thing you really need to know is that it's water based so it can be removed easily with a damp sponge, but you must remove it quickly because once it dries it's fully waterproof and you won't be able to budge it! So keep that sponge handy!

Good product, just a bit too much than needed, could have done with a smaller pot

Easy to work with
Easy to work with. Does the job well. Coverage as stated. Use disposable gloves & change them often. Only have a limited volume out of the container in a dipping tray at any one time.

very hard to get locally... does what it says on the tin!
This bitumen based product is ideal for reclaimed wood block flooring, it is runny and messy to apply but it does the job perfectly. It may seem pricey but it does a large area and compared to other similar products it is very reasonable.

Perfect for the job.
Excellent. I was able to fix down several loose wooden blocks that were laid many, many years ago without having to remove every scrap of bitumen.

Great product.
Appears to have done exactly what we wanted from it.Used this to 'glue down' replacement parquet bricks in a floor that we were renovating. Both the surface we we laying onto, and the replacement bricks we were laying were severely uneven and had substantial remains of old bitumen. Didn't have to scrape anything off, just painted on a thick layer of adhesive onto the underfloor where we'd removed the previous brick, dipped the new brick to coat its underside and pressed it down firmly into its gap.Seems to have comfortably cured overnight, and we planed and sanded the blocks 2-3 days later with no issues at all. The "half hour working time" is actually much longer than that ... we ladled out a portion and worked with that for comfortably and hour or two.Couple of points (mostly obvious ones):- wear disposable gloves when working with it.- if you need to 'paint' it onto the substrate then be aware that the brush will be completely destroyed (we bought £1 throw-away brushes)- have a bunch of paper towel available for wiping up spills (no need for water or solvent - it wipes off easily whilst it's wet)
