I have a special needs child that hates wearing depends and prefers regular loose underwear but has occasional bed wetting a couple times a week. I have purchased several of these pads and they work great at absorbing the pee and the gripping dots on the bottom do help a little on keeping the pad in place. I do have a backup pad underneath another layer just in case the top one moves but usually when my child wakes up wet, I can remove the soiled pad and linen on top and the pad on the next layer is dry and ready for my child to crawl back into bed. They’ve been washed many times, I take care to follow instructions, I don’t use dryer sheets and the pads have stayed just as absorbent as when first purchased. I’ve only had to purchase again due to a family trip and accidentally leaving pads behind. I was definitely bummed as these have been my favorite brand and I relegated the other brands I have to the back of a closet. I’ll purchase these over the others every time I need new ones.

As everyone else who has reviewed this product has stated, this product is Excellent. Anyone who has given it less than a 5 star review, I am at a loss as to what more they could possibly want from a reusable underpad. It stays in place perfectly, even if you're a restless sleeper, with silky sheets, or jersey. or even with flannel. These pads are washable, they are not uncomfortable on the bed underneath you and they even come in colors other than white, although I happened to have chosen white because I like it. I will now choose these on my bed for the just-in-case overnight worry-free leakage.

Our cat sometimes sleeps with me, on the sheet and up near the pillow. But she sheds a lot, and after a few days, there's hair all over. And after a few more days, she doesn't want to sleep there anymore because it's too dirty even for her (nose in air)! So rather than having to wash the sheets every few days, I got these pads. She likes them, they give her a nice clean place to sleep, I can change those out regularly, and everybody's happy!

The old pad slipped every time. This one works GREAT, comfortable and stays in place. It's very easy to tell which is the bottom side as it has a texture to it. Well made.

They really do hold urine spills - I don't know how much, but a fair amount. Unfortunately, the surface retains dampness (not wet, but damp), so you'll have to come up with something that allows all the liquid through but is dry to the touch . I have ideas, but have not yet implemented them. Great product, I have bought several so I don't have to wash every day.

I was able to obtain a larger size that would cover my recliner and in-home hospital bed without lumps.

These pads move all over the bed and wrinkle under the person using them. I haven't actually tested their absorbency..

Las uso con una persona mayor que suele tener incontinencia, han protegido bien mi colchón y hasta ahora no han desmerecido lavándolas en lavadora automática. Recomendables.

He comprado 2 y muy feliz con mi compra, primero compré uno para probarlo y al ver qué absorbe super bien compré el segundo para mí hija. Estoy muy feliz y ya no me preocupo por los colchones, además es muy práctico ya que se puede mover muy fácil en caso de que decida que pueden dormir mis hijos en mi cama...

Got this for our three year old. Seems perfect - good size, easy to place on the bed, not disruptive, absorbs well and easy to wash. Very satisfied.

The media could not be loaded.  I have used a few waterproof mattresses in the past and none was absorbent enough and neither stayed in place. I always end up washing both the mattress pad and the bedcovers.The Original GORILLA GRIP Slip-Resistant Incontinence Mattress Pad (52"x 34") Cover is a little expensive compared to the other 2 waterproof mattresses I have. But the size and quality match the price, so does the fact that it is slip-resistant.I use the Mattress Pad on a twin-size bed and it almost covers a twin-size bed. The ad claims the mattress pad to absorb 8 glasses of water ( not sure how much the 8 glass of water is , the quantity may vary to glass size) hence I tried the Mattress Pad Cover with 40 0z (1.18294 litres) of water. It does hold that (40 oz) much of water and keeps the bedcovers clean and dry.Overall, I am happy with the size, quality and price of the mattress. It is a lifesaver and I use it every day for a carefree ,tension-free feeling. it is better to buy one good mattress than buying multiple cheap waterproof mattresses which won't solve the purpose.would highly recommend.
