Very nice pistol case perfect size for my snub nose 38

I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice.

Good rug. Small size is perfect size for full size pistol. Quality padding and zipper.

I bought a few of these in the small and med sizes to keep my pistols separated in my range bag, so they don't bang into each other and get scratched up. The build quality is just OK for the price. All the padding is on the outside of the case. The inside lining is a very thin sheet of fabric over a cardboard backer. The outside layer is about 1/4" thick (6.3mm) of what feels like sheet foam. For my intended use case, these will do fine, but I wouldn't trust these cases to protect the pistol if you dropped the case on the ground accidentally. Additionally, I think they are a bit narrow. In order to get the zipper to close I really have to hold the two sides together as I zip it closed. Maybe they were designed that way to ensure a snug fit and the pistol doesn't move around too much, but as the gun is "tight" in the case, that skinny padding and lack of protection comes into play. If your use case is similar to mine, these will do fine. But, if you are looking for a case to carry from the car into the shooting range, I'd look for a higher quality unit with a lot more padding.

Works like a charm

I like these, I bought two of them and I’m thinking about picking up a third one, they are perfect go to range bags , I use them for my pew pew to carry in the range bag to keep it protected. It fits perfectly my Canik MS9LS and anything under size wise . But keep in mind this is the smallest they sell.

Good for the price. Holds My S&W Shield X and one Magazine

I liked this rag, sturdy and well constructed. The firearm would definitely be safe in this case during normal transportation. Unfortunately the medium size was much too small for Ruger Mark IV Competition. Just a wee bit too small for Hammerli xesse. It fit okay Hammerli Xesse with normal grips, but it would not fit when target grips are mounted. The height of this case is only 1", but for target grips it would need 2.5" or so. To summarize, a good quality product but not for target pistols.
