Working well and battery is lasting.
UK buyer, purchased on Amazon.I cycle 50+ miles a week so this little device is totally rubbish! However I wanted something that helped with tracking my sleep patterns and also a general fitness tracker to support weight loss.I am disappointed that the technology can not support cycling and although it appears to record some steps on the bike due to bumps in the road, it would actually be great to have some sort of bike mode or link to a cycle app, so I can avoid having to switch to different technology when recording my cycling calorie burn. Please do look at adding a bike function or link. Here are a few notes and thoughts:1/ The setup and synch with the iphone/ipad was very easy. 10mins and I had the app loaded and bluetooth all linked.2/ The auto synch is great. I actually thought I would have to upload via desktop USB or at least trigger a synch, however it does it all automatically, so I just look at the app on my phone and all the data is on screen.3/ The clock on the device puts a 0 on PM times which is really annoying because I only expect to see 08:00 in the morning. Hopefully they will find a way to blank the 0 in an update.4/ The sleep tracker is great and just being aware of how I sleep is helping me. It can work out if you are having deep sleep, when you wake etc. I have now adjusted my sleeping pattern by going to sleep later and have found that I have made small steps in my battle with poor sleep.5/ Accuracy. I have no idea how well it is recording steps. I went to London with a friend who uses his phone to track steps and his result was 3000 steps less than mine. I don't know if that is due to his android phone underestimating or the Withings over estimating.6/ Blood Oxygen and Heart rate. I like this feature and check it after exercise. It works well although sometimes I need to try twice to get it to measure the oxygen level.7/ The strap. I wear it on my right arm with a normal watch on my left arm. It is comfortable, looks plain and people often ask what it is. If you have the strap on while the Withings is charging you need to be careful because the hook like metal ends will catch on things, especially if you are not used to wearing a device/watch on your right arm.8/ Water proofing. I normally wear a water proof sports watch and never take it off. So taking off the Withings for a shower is a bit annoying. The USB port is also unprotected so I would worry about using it on a long rainy walk and would suggest it is taken off and put in a pocket. I don't think sweat is a problem because the port is protected by the metal strap, so won't get moisture in there, unless you sweat like a pig on a hot tin bath.In summary. After 3 weeks I am still keeping it on and enjoying tracking my results. The biggest plus for me has been the sleep monitor which I use every night. The nice surprise has been the quality of the app for tracking other things like weight which is not a function of the device and battery life is good between charges + re-charge time is very short.I would buy Withings kit again.

Amazing Tracker - Greatly Improved My Fitness
Got this approx 6 months ago now and I have been wearing it every day since then!Pros:- It really has improved my overall activity. I first set myself a target of achieving 10,000 steps a day and after about 4 months of that, I upped it to 20,000 for the next few months. Over that time I have lost 20lbs and my fitness has greatly improved.- I love that the tracker has a screen so that you can just check your progress at any time without having to get your phone out like other trackers, it really does make a difference!- The rubber band is more comfortable than I thought it would be and is really easy to clean, as you will definitely need to if you wear it every day like I do.- I cannot fault the battery life. I tend to charge mine when I have a shower and it has never run out of battery yet.- The different screens are good and as you can change them around now since the update that has been much better. You can now have a watch as the main screen which also displays your amount of steps. This was a bit annoying when I got it as you could only have one or the other as the first screen.- The tracker also comes with a clip as well as the wrist strap, which is really useful for when you don't want to have to wear the watch, which can be a bit unsightly when going out for the night etc.- The app is also great and also links up with other apps such as myfitness pal. I really like being able to have my steps on a graph and also being able to input my weight every day to keep track of it is really quite motivating.- The sleep tracker is also really good, and whilst it is probably not accurate to the letter, it gives a great general idea of how you sleep by judging your movement in the night. Also seeing how much sleep you got is also a great motivator for trying to get more!- One of the main reasons for getting this particular tracker, was the fact that it would actually work with my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note, which is quite old and most of the other trackers on the market were either solely for Apple products, or for newer phones which would not work for me.Cons:- I cannot say I have really used the heart tracker with the oxygen levels. I tried it a couple of times when I first bought it, but I do not really find any use for having that data tracked.- It can get quite addictive trying to attain a certain amount of steps per day and tracking your weight everyday, so sometime is a good idea to take a step back. But overall it really has improved my level of fitness no end.- Being able to sync the withings to your phone or device, can take quite a few gos and a bit of trial and error. I really struggled with this at first as it just would not sync and update the steps, but I worked out that sometime it can help to restart your phone and then it should just sync. Most of the time however, it just syncs by itself so there is no need to worry about doing it manually yourself.- It is not waterproof. While it is splashproof so there is no worries when washing your hands etc, it would have been even better if it was waterproof, but for the price it is not that big a deal.I really would recommend the Withings, as it is so great and I have not yet tired of it in 6 months. I am quite interested now in the Withings Activite Pop, but am still debating the toss up between what I have now vs waterproof/battery life/being more traditional looking.
