It’s perfect and really sharp, helps cut carrot juliennes nicely and speedily.

Love this device. It is about the size of a peeler, we use it when making stir frys for things like carrots. Use in the same way as a peeler and you have lovely thin strips of carrot for your dinner. We just rinse under the tap and put the safety guard back on before storing safely. Not for use by kids or unsupervised as the blade is sharp.

The two drawbacks of this are: First it leaves a fairly thick piece of waste vegetable because when you get down to the last few mm, you can't hold the veggie and julienne it without julienning your fingers at the same time. Second, it is made of really sharp pointy metal and just terrifying to use. Luckily it comes with a plastic guard for storage so you're only in danger of accidentally shredding your hand off when you're using it. Apart from that I think it's worth it for the time saving of cutting veggies into matchsticks for salads and the like. I wouldn't try it on anything layered like cabbage or onion, though, that seems like a recipe for disaster.

I have been looking for what seems like a lifetime for a spiralizer for carrots, courgettes etc. I've tried a few and they have been nothing short of useless. I came upon this by chance and suffice to say that I was very sceptical especially considering the price. However I have the best OXO potato peeler ever so I remained optimistic. I have just used it today and to start with my heart sank as it seemed to be like a potato peeler. It took me a few minutes to get to grips with it and apply the necessary pressure and to understand that the ribbons need to be gently pulled apart which is definitely no big deal. I cannot endorse this product enough. Great for stir fries, salads, the list is endless. My beauty of the day will be the courgettes cooked in the air fryer. I love the safety shield and to date have no issues with hazards. It's like any other sharp implement. Caution is needed.

I was looking for a product that would help me produce vegetable noodles for low-carb dishes. I saw a lot of more complex products but plumped for this and was not disappointed. It is extremely sharp, but comes with a cover for the blade (so you don't slice a finger reaching for it in the drawer!). Works beautifully on carrots and courgettes. I've even used it on an apple - mixed with the carrot and some mayo it makes a lovely little side dish! Because the blade is so sharp this product works very quickly, washes easily and generally does what it's meant to. Simple and effective!

I have used a lot of OXO good grip gadgets and this 1 is built just as good as any of the others i have used. They are very sturdy, very sharp and as the name suggests they have a good grip. The problem with this gadget is that after you get a few good peels of say a carrot, it starts to get thin and the carrot just breaks apart so you are wasting a good bit of veg. The blades are super sharp to and with how hard it can be to pull the peeler through the veg you can easily do yourself an injury. It is a good peeler but like i said it can be dangerous but if you don't mind being patient with it then it could be worth a go.

I wanted a Julienne peeler for salads and coleslaw and didn't care about the cost, I just wanted a quality product that worked. OXO Good Grips usually perform well even if not the most beautiful in the draw. I spent some time searching and reading reviews but finally opted for this OXO peeler. It is robust and feels comfortable to hold but most importantly; It does a good job. Also it's not as big as I'd expected and fits into the draw without taking up too much space.

Works great peeling zucchini for zucchini spaghetti! Very sharp so be careful. Great OXO quality.
