Poor design, metal body won't protect anything
The design of 2 halves are such that they fold on each other with minimal force. Will easily crush the contents inside despite being made out of metal. Many other nonmetallic versions will probably do a better job. Not a value for money. Just look at the photo and imagine if your favorite earphone or ear buds will survive this!
