DEWALT DWE490 230 mm 2000 W 240 V Angle Grinder

I usually try and make do with the cheapest item I can find. This time however I bought a quality product and was delighted with its performance cutting a concrete driveway. It was however quite heavy but that was probably why it performed so well.

Wee bit heavy but most tools are but other than that would buy again I wouldn’t look at anything else

Excellent bit of kit

I purchased this product originally to cut up bars of metal which it did admirably. I also needed to cut up some old glazed clay drainage pipe which needed to be trimmed. Again the rotary speed and cutting ability ensured the job was completed without mishap. Very pleased with my choice of grinder.

This is a real power house of a grinder and I have used it to lay 60 square metres of sandstone. It took a while to get used to the size and weight but this is its positive as it feels solid and cuts very well (with right blades). No soft start so jerks when you turn it on but this is something I quickly got used to.
