We live in a hot climate but often like to vacation somewhere cold. It was very cumbersome trying to get our winter clothes packed up for travel. I saw these on sale and thought it was with a try. I did not want something that required "vacuum packing". These did reduce the space by about a third. You can't fill the, to the brim, because then they won't zip. But if you fill them about three quarters, leave space to push in the fabric by the zipper, and squish it, it works! My clothes were not excessively wrinkled, and it made a tight flat package. I liked that one side was mesh for breathability and so that I could see what was in the cube. Little carry handle was convenient too. They are extremely lightweight and breathable. These are nice to have and work well for socks, shirts, and sweaters, etc. I got two sizes, and even the largest one is not big enough to pack a winter coat so order the largest ones. The smaller ones don't really have room for much.

To be honest, when I ordered these, I wasn't exactly sure what they did in terms of making it better for packing. I thought it just sort of compartmentalized your items. But it does one better, way better - it zips up to kind of squish your clothes so that they are compressed (no vacuum needed). Then you can pack way more. It does cause some wrinkles, but that wasn't a big issue. These were a huge help in packing for a 4 day trip with just a carry on!

Here’s the summary but keep reading if you like juicy details:• Great quality zippers and fabric - I don’t worry about it tearing when I’m zipping the compression (but probably still smart to do so carefully)• LOVE the size options - perfect for organizing by type of clothing and easier to Tetris into luggage than more typical ones• love the little pockets included at the bottom of the smallest cubes - didn’t even know it had those but will come in handy!• it’s easy to be tempted to overfill because it seems so roomy when it’s not compressed, but just remember that the compression feature isn’t magic. But it’s also nice that if you do want to overfill and not compress you can too. Choose your own adventure!I’ve been shopping for compression cubes for months now and had a million different ones sitting in my cart, but was too afraid to commit to a set because I was worried it wouldn’t be THE one. I already have two sets of pretty standard packing cubes but have never really loved them, so if I was going to spend $30+ for something I didn’t really need I wanted to love it!!Well, due to an upcoming trip and me running out of time I was forced to choose one, and these were love at first sight! It has all of the features I wanted and they are great quality. The thing I’ve never liked about my old packing cubes is how big they are, because I always had to mix clothes together that I didn’t want to mix (ie swimsuits with pajamas, shirts with bottoms, etc). It was also a pain to pack because the biggest size always took up almost an entire side of the suitcase and really limited what else you could add to that side. These cubes, in my opinion, are PERFECT because you can organize more strategically with the smaller options and pack Tetris style to fit way more. I also love that there’s a little clear pocket on the top of the cube to add a label for each cube for what’s inside!I didn’t think I needed a laundry bag because I usually just bring a garbage bag with me for that, but this will be much classier (ha).As I mentioned above, it’s tempting to overfill because it seems like there’s still so much room left when it’s not compressed, but that feature isn’t magic so just be mindful of that when packing them. But it’s always an option to just stuff it full uncompressed!Anyway, there’s always a risk that you’ll get a damaged product but in my opinion, you will be happy with this purchase!!

Ordered these for a trip I was taking. Don't let the small size fool you, I was able to fit everything in that I needed. I put everything I need for one day (towel, washcloth, clothes) and then zipped them for the compression. I pulled out one pack for each day and then put previous days items in and packed them away. Worked great!! I ended up buying a second set for me to use on longer trips and 2 sets my husband.

I live in Arizona where we have spring and summer just about year-round.. unfortunately most of my immediate family are in the Midwest and I always have to pack extra clothing that is really puffy and has always dominated how I pack, leaving stuff behind that I later need. I ordered these bags today and received them today (yay!), and immediately tested the largest size on my full-size down parka. Very easily I was able to fit it in, didn’t even require elbow grease to smush it all in there. I am so impressed i just ordered two more sets for Christmas gifts for a career flight attendant and another full-time business traveler. Highly recommended!

I've used packing cubes for a number of years now when traveling and always recommend their use. I got these for this last trip as I was traveling for a longer bit of time so want to squeeze as much in as I could and still use my smaller suitcase. These were great! Very well made. The various sizes in the package worked very well for me and I appreciated the added bonus of being able to add labeling to each for easy identification. Highly recommend these for your travels.

If you’re not an organized packer this is a great purchase. I used this for my last trip to Mexico and it truly helped me to not overpack and just keep everything in their place. There was more than enough bags to use and I had tons of space left to pack goodies for my return home.

These compression packing cubes are a must if you’re traveling for an extended time. My wife and I traveled to France for two weeks and I must say my experience with these cubes was amazing. From using them to separate my socks and underwear to maintaining our dirty clothes from clean these cubes aided our quick packing and ease of quickly getting our clothes laundered. I highly recommend these packets. Get them!
