Toolzone drill
Great tool. My project (1920's racing runabout R/C boat) has been completely built without the use of any power tools. Without this drill I would not have been able to complete the project.

Needs some help
Although this now works as expected, I had to put some effort in. Plenty of dry runs were required to make the mechanism run smooth. As delivered, the mechanism stuck frequently. Also, the chuck didn't accept anything over 1mm in diameter. It does now, but only at the expense of refusing to accept anything below 0.6mm.

Looking for a quick way to break all your bits? This is the tool for you!
The jaws do not line up properly so the bit does is not held in the centre, which means it wobbles as you spin the drill. Given that the spring on the shaft is quite strong, you need to press rather firmly and as the drill bit isn't held straight, it bends and breaks pretty much instantly. I cut the spring off and can get away with using bits over 0.9mm but I'm not even going to try anything finer.

Too fiddly
Nicely engineered with a pleasant action, especially for the price, but, and this is a major but, the chuck has four jaws rather than three (imagine a cross-hair), meaning that bits do not center themselves. Given how easy it is to break very thin drill bits, especially if they are off-center, this is a significant problem.

Excellent for drilling small holes in plastic model kits- I would recommend this product
Excellent for drilling small holes in plastic model kits- the archimedes screw system really work and you can still turn it manually if you choose.
