Funny Faces: A look and laugh mirror board book

Both my kids loved that book and gifted it to new parents too. The mirror on the last page is always making everyone smile!

I’ve been reading this to my now 6 month old since birth and it’s a different experience every time!! I only have this book since she was born and she loves it now, she gets so excited when she sees it. I have ordered some more from pat a cake.

My 5 month old loves this book, she never wants to put it down, highly recommend!

This book is very chunky with thick board pages and rounded edges. The only colours used are black white grey and yellow, on the basis that it takes several months for baby's vision to develop - at first everything is fuzzy and they can only distinguish light/dark. After a few months they can begin to see near objects more clearly if they are in bright contrasting colours. My wife was an early years teachers and recommends sharing this book with your baby from about 6 months - look at each page and turn to the mirror on the back page to wave, smile etc.From quite early on your baby will begin to mimic your actions and facial expressions. But once EVERYTHING is going into his mouth and he can hold objects for himself a board book will get very chewed and soggy and may not taste too good, so stick with fabric or soft plastic books that are certified baby safe. Most important of all, just tell baby stories and sing rhymes close up with cuddles - you don't really need a book to do this but it is nice to have some favourites that you tell and retell. Although advertised as First Baby Days your baby is most likely to be a toddler before he can make full use of this book.

Cute book, my baby likes it

My son is 16 weeks old and really likes this book, especially the mirror and the last page with all the characters. Bought it when he was 6 or 7 weeks and he was definitely interested even then.

Nello specifico Funny Faces mostra alcune illustrazioni carine di animaletti che possono catturare l'attenzione anche dei piccolissimi. Non è in assoluto il preferito di Chris, ma lo guarda volentieri, specialmente l'ultima pagina con lo specchietto!Anche questo volume entra a pieno titolo nei @ilibridelloscoiattolo!

Oh, how beautiful is this book! The pictures are so pretty and alluring. The pages are thick and could definitely last for years. My baby spends a few good minutes studying the pictures and smiling at them even at the age of 4 months. Definitely recommended!

My 3 month old boy loves this book the most among all his books. It's probably the contrasting yellow/black images. It's a beautiful book absolutely worth it's considerably lower price in India
