While I like the colours of this starter pack
While I like the colours of this starter pack, I'm not a fan of the boards that are given. They are very limited in the designs one can create, even with guides telling you how make said designs. I do understand that hama beads are generally something you played with as a child, however a bit of freedom with designs (even just a big 16 x 16 square) would go a long way. I seperately bought enough boards to complete a 116 x 116 project - but as I said the colours are good enough for it.

Separators keep undone, be ready for beads to be mixed!
Bought this as I thought it would keep the beads in there spaces, but the space separators are rather flimsy and therefore keep on either popping out or up and "letting" other beads in the space. Also flimsy to click the levels onto each other as the separators keep on pop up.But that said, you get quite a few beads of each colour, just be prepared that the separators come undone and the beads mix!

Kids absolutely loved these. The box is divided into sections and it really helps the kids to do the different projects

Poor design
Box is crap and after the kids start using it the divides come out and it does not re assemble. Really very poor design for children
