A good drill that's useful in tight spaces, but is not powerful enough for cutting holes in joists
This is good for drilling holes in tight spaces - far easier to use than those right-angle attachments for standard drills.I bought it for drilling some holes for water pipes through a double joist, and it did help me to achieve that, but it wasn't powerful enough to manage it all by itself. Even with some brand new and razor sharp beaver bits, it would stall after getting a few mm in, especially if you hit a knot hole (It doesn't have a clutch mechanism either, so be very careful of your hands and wrist if/when the hole cutter jams up and you are not gripping it tight!). It was, however, good enough to get the holes started and make just enough room to get my other drill in (also a Ryobi).Even if it had managed to get all the way through by itself, that was clearly asking too much of it and so I doubt it would have held up for long under that kind of abuse - the gearbox would have stripped or the motor burnt out. I had a suspicion that would be the case when I bought it (I had also considered getting a more expensive Makita corded one, which I think would have been stronger), but I decided to go for this instead as it was cheaper, I only needed four sets of holes, and I had some other uses in mind if it didn't work out.Definitely a good addition to the toolbox - especially if you already have some Ryobi batteries - just don't ask too much from it. It's a drill (and maybe a driver for screws in a pinch), and not a hole cutter.I also have a cordless Ryobi combi drill that has seen a lot of abuse over the years, including drilling holes in concrete, and that is still going strong.

Excellent bit of kit works really well in tight spaces

Very useful
Great item for when you have self assembly furniture. Fits well in tight spaces when the body of a normal drill is too long.

Heavier than it looks
I only us this tool maybe twice or three time a day job. I am a Hobbiest so not very often and it is a heavy tool. It works well and I like it it a lot. It has a very abrupt brake action on the rotation when you stop the power that was a plus for me.

Excellent tools
Looks weird, but works brilliantly. Enough power for most small jobs and the ability to get into spaces a more conventional pistol design can't touch is fabulous. Good quality, and I like the lithium-ion battery setup; no recharging memory effect, smaller, lighter, and very powerful. I originally bought an impact drill / driver with 2 x 4Ah batteries and it's the capacity and power of them which make these ONE+ tools serious pieces of kit for serious DIY and maybe for professional builders as well - I first saw one of these in the grip of a builder putting an extension on my house. The jigsaw is great as well and the impact drill / driver very good indeed.

The tool you always knew you kneeled.
Always wanted an offset drill, with its solid build and long reach. There’s often a job that needs a tight access tool, and this one covers all bases. Variable Speed trigger gives total control, and the build is first class. It’s a great addition to my tool kit.
