It’s well made a useful item if you are into photography
It’s a well made product and the only one you can use on an iPhone 16 pro and pro max. The mag grip is strong on a decent mag case. Bluetooth connects fast and is stable . I’ve shot both in portrait and landscape , much easier with the grip fitted. Annoyingly if you reconnect the grip it won’t connect Bluetooth you have to forget , turn off and on BT and try again. It’s worth the money, no shutter lag and no more dropping the phone . Great product for me as a photographer.

Great piece of kit. Well pleased.
Initially I was concerned that this may be another gadget I throw in my bag that never sees the light if day again. The price is a bit high for what it is? Then I used it. I hardly ever take it off my iPhone 13 pro max now. Great as a stand and also a side grip. Works really well using the bedside clock feature on the forthcoming iOS 17 update. Get one now while you can as I feel these will be in short supply !!

Makes taking photos so much easier!
Most smartphones these days have excellent cameras, but the shape of them doesn't make them easy to use. Trying not to drop them whilst adjusting settings on the screen can mean missing the best shot. This simple but clever device makes things so much better. Attaching via MagSafe (it does require a MagSafe phone / case) it's quick to attach when required and gives you a much better grip for holding your phone in one hand. Once paired by Bluetooth you can use the built-in button for taking pictures leaving your other hand for making adjustments to on-screen settings. A very useful addition is the built-in battery which can charge your phone wirelessly - keeping it topped up. The only additional feature I'd love would be a dial for controlling the zoom - but maybe that'll come with version 2.

Flawed
This looks like a great addition for your smart phone , but the implementation is flawed. The response when you press the button to take a photo is slow and unless the subject is not moving you will miss it. On the plus it is a nice grip, making holding phone easy. The mag-safe is strong on my case and it charges well.

Super!
This thing is perfect! I was looking for something to hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max whilst shooting but didn’t want or need the complexity of a gimbal. I also wanted to make use of the MagSafe. Stumbled across this via Instagram and found it here on sale.Helps to hold the phone securely and provides ergonomic stability whilst shooting pics or video.Godsend really.Main unit scratches and dirt piles into the circular grooves easily, which I hope they will improve on forthcoming iterations. Also, noticed the MagSafe works stronger with just phone or apple cases rather than third party cases. But maybe that is normal. Also tried with an iPhone 12 mini. Awesome!Really recommend this.

A couple of annoying, and one fatal flaw
Really like the idea of this, but now doubting my decision. It’s feels good in isolation, good idea to have the Qi charge as a selectable option. However, If you order only the grip, you don’t get any form of protective case, very disappointing, no option I’ve found to even option one. There is no way to turn off the Bluetooth on the grip when you’ve finished, you have to turn off the phones Bluetooth to force snap grip to sleep. This seems a silly and pretty basic oversight. With the grip on a 13 Pro Max, you can’t see the lights, and it makes the whole setup uncomfortably thick. Now the potential fatal flaw, the MagSafe magnet feels very weak, not sure I can bring myself to trust it.It doesn’t ‘snap’ to the phone with any confident feeling, this is to a genuine apple MagSafe case, the key magnet is all but absent, barely any resistance. Now I’ve given the phone and grip a good shake in safety, and it’s not dropped off, but I’m not sure an accidental knock would see my phone tumbling to its doom.Trying hard to convince myself not to return it.Edit: I’ve since used it for a day walkabout taking pictures, the shutter button is horribly laggy , the button isn’t a nice feel, you need to press and fully release for the photo to be taken, unlike a normal camera, which would take image on press, and it’s a fairly ‘long throw’ press, feels uncomfortable and unnatural to use, and on a few occasions it refused to react. This will end up in the returns warehouse, maybe I’ve got a faulty one, not sure.

Nice
The MagSafe is very reliable. The feeling of hand grip may not be perfect but definitely better than none. In general I like it and will try to use it for taking photos as long as possible :)

Good but fundamental flaw with Bluetooth implementation
Well built and functions correctly BUT each time it powers itself off after you have finished with it when you next want to use it it does not remember what it paired with so immediately goes into pairing mode again, so you need to delete the old pairing and recreate it. Never have I seen this on any other BT device.Just too much hassle so returning and will look for another brand.
