Unfortunately I have learnt in the past the hard way the effect of being caught out in the back of beyond miles from anywhere when a chain snap's. I ALWAYS carry a pack of these for my Shimano 10 Speed Chain (also KMC) however these work on 8, 9 speeds but NOT 11 & 12 speeds I'm told. They weigh absolutely nothing and just leave them in my biking back back just incase the dread snapped chain happens. My last snap happened a few weeks ago 10 minutes into the ride and within 10 minutes I was back out on the trails for another 3 hours as the quality and fit was good and simple. On closer inspection of my chain when home I noticed that there where 3 of these links in my chain proving that have stood the test of time and tough conditions - so durability isn't an issue. A MUST buy that you can pack and forget and be that hero of the day when you or your mates need one - definitely a recommend product.

I bought a new bike with shoes that clip onto the pedals. Yep, on one of my first rides at a busy junction I didn’t get my foot released in time and went down like a sack of spuds breaking my chain in the process. Bought these and fixed my chain good as new. Little fiddly to apply but only took me 30 mins of messing about and I have mild arthritis in my hands making fine motor skills a little difficult for me. Would recommend, I keep the spares in my bag as you genuinely don’t need any tools to apply. Line em up then sit on the bike and stand on the pedals with the brakes on to lock the links in place. Very pleased

The price/quantity factor makes these spare chain links good value. This is the first time I've ever had to fix/replace a broken chain link, so was glad for a surplus amount so I could make a few trial and error mistakes. The stainless steel links felt very well made. The link pins fitted easily into my chain links and the slide clips locked together securely. I did lose one that pinged off in the garden, so glad for the extras. Looking forward to being back on two wheels. Thank you.

Defective product, link holes too small to pull through. No use forming fixing point of the chain. Buy elsewhere and avoid the frustration of trying to get these links to snap into place.

After almost an hour trying to get these to link together in a very well equipped shop, I finally just gave up. The machining on the units I received just isn't right, and makes it impossible for the pin to slide from the insertion hole into the locking hole. DO NOT BUY THESE LINKS. Spend the money for the proper ones from a reputable manufacturer.

funktioniert, ist einfach zu handhaben tut was es soll kann auch eine gerissene Kette schnell reparieren auch Ohne Werkzeug zu montieren

Erfüllt seinen zweck und war mein Retter in der Not bei einem Kettenriss. Denke jedem den schon einmal die Kette gerissen ist wird diese Engel im Gepäck haben. Allerdings sollte man auch einen Kettennieter dabei haben um das kaputte Kettenglied vollständig entfernen zu können.
