Excellent product; works as advertised.

I bought this for my mom’s tv. I was able to easily pair it with a SoundLink Micro Bluetooth® speaker. She was happy that it didn’t affect her regular remote and that it didn’t block anything on her tv. I’m pleased that it had many options for hookup. I tried out the different hookups and each type worked. Excellent product!

Poor user documentation prevented a *****

4 because of pairing issues as a result of what I think is poor user documentation.I bought this product to beam TV audio to Avantree Audition pro bluetooth headphones. My hearing is not as good as my wife's. She likes the TV volume very low I need it higher.Initial I was very, very disappointed, but after persevering for several hours I am now very satisfied.1) Before ordering review all the documentation regarding auxiliary audio for your TV. On some TVs when you use auxilary audio the TV speakers are disabled.2) Initially I had a great deal of difficulty pairing beamit in TX mode with my head phones. I could easily and repeatably pair beamit in RX mode with my Android phone but I couldn't pair anything in TX mode.3) After many hours of experimenting on the last page of the user documentation I read how to force beamit to do a "factory reset". After doing a "factory reset", beamit paired easily and successfully in TX mode with the headphones.Note the beamit user documentation pages dealing with pairing, NEVER mentioned the need to do a factory reset. In additionit paired easily in RX mode without the reset. With the CAVEAT that you need to check your TV and use "factory reset" its a great product. It works very well with theAvantree Audition pro bluetooth headphones. NOTE: The Avantree documentation warns you to do a reset before trying to pair witha different device.

Works well and is tiny!

I have used this for many devices, in the headphones jacks and with the optical cord. I had no idea it could be so easy (and tiny). And I did not have to be close to connect my indoor record player to my outdoor speakers. It took a bit to get the hang of the connecting lights but once you have that down, it is so simple and wonderful.

Good partner for Bose QC35

I was looking for a Bluetooth transmitter which can deal with AAC code because Bose QC35 doesn't support AptX. Then I found this little thing which is amazing, you barely notice lag, the sound quality is good too. Great product! It saves my neighbors attacked by my Bose mini SoundLink bass :)

No indication of which codex is being used, otherwise seems to perform correctly.

I had previously reviewed this product, and had given it a very low rating; I believe now that I was wrong. My complaint was that the AptX LL (low latency) protocol wasn’t being used when the device was in transmit mode. I am no longer convinced of that. When I watched the evaluation DVD (a concert) which I had chosen — more-or-less at random — with no Bluetooth at all, I found the delay to be similar. It’s a Brazilian disc, and I believe that the audio-visual synchronization on the disc itself had been badly done. With other source materials, the delay has been much less in evidence. Therefore, I am no longer sure at all that my original criticism was valid. At this point, the only weakness that I see is one which would have helped me debug the problem in the first place: the lack of an indication as to which of the supported codecs (SBC, AptX, AptX LL, and AAC) was in use.

Sound good but gradually developed problems

Only used as a transmitter. Sound was good but signal became weaker over days of use. Sound began to cut out. When switching headsets I had to manually switch unit off then back on and sometimes had to pair again. A real hassle.

Instructions aren't very clear

Idk....I've tried to install, had a friend try to install, but my Samsung tv and Bluetooth doesn't seem to work....thinking of returning this.

Latency still an issue

I agree with almost all of the previous posts regarding the sound quality and ease of connection (a little more difficult than I expected, but not bad). However, I purchased the Auris to reduce or eliminate the latency between my TV and Beats Solo3 headphones I got for Christmas. I expected the Auris technology to be better, since the marketing says they support the "latest Bluetooth 4.2 technology with high end aptX™ and AAC audio codecs," which is what Apple uses for the Beats. But there was not much difference between the Auris and the $29.95 Aluratek I got at Best Buy, so I have returned the Auris. Maybe my next step is to get an Apple TV. :)

Works fine, just as it says

A little bit hard to set up. Once all set up and paired, I found I had to toggle the switch once to the left to get it to transmit. But once I worked this out it's been fine.
