Holy Bible, Giant Print Presentation Edition: King James Version

Super size, easy to read A4 size, FAB. Was replacing my late father's KJV of which the print is too small for me to read these days, without a magnifier. Very good value, can read without my glasses, and very nice quality, and arrived the very next day.

Nice print size making this easier to read. Difficult to say accurately because there doesn't appear to be a print standard, but the letters are about 3 times the size of a standard KJ bible and twice the size of a standard book.Also, the text is the traditional King James text, not a modified version.It is quite big, so is best read, leaning on a table or similar.

This is a great Bible for those who need larger print reading material.It is a large and hefty volume indeed, well suited for home use but maybe a little unwieldy for church, but that is only my opinion as some people may manage quite well with it.All in all I have no hesitation in recommending this great Bible to anyone,a good value purchase if ever there was one.

I bought this bible for my 81 year old father whose sight is failing through probable over use in my opinion, he had reached the point where an ordinary bible was getting beyond him even with a magnifier. He is able to read this one comfortably and is much relieved. Personally I am amazed at the quality of the Bible for the money it feels and looks like a Bible many times its cost, I cannot recommend this bible to highly for anyone who needs a large print hand held Bible

This is a great BIG (approx. 11 x 8 1/2 inches) Bible with 15.5 point type and plenty of little unexpected added features. But it does NOT have bold print as advertised in the sample on the outer cover. If you are okay with fainter print, this is a fantastic large print Bible for you, but do not buy if you need or prefer bold (darker) print.However, the lack of bold print is the only fault I can find. For the price, it is great value. It is red-letter (i.e. the words spoken by Christ are in red), has a presentation page, colour maps, small sections on how the Bible came to us, daily Bible readings, life in Bible times, natural history of the Bible, unfamiliar words in the Bible, why read the Bible, and a 30 page dictionary/concordance. The edges of the pages are described as "antique", so not shiny gilt-edged if you especially want that kind. Can't comment on the durability as do not have it long enough, though they say a Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn't :)Would definitely have given this Bible all 5 stars but for the first point about the lack of bold print.

I bought this as a present for my mother who has early amd. the large print in it was excellent for her also liked the chenge of colour where Jeseus spoke. while being very good and easy to read it still looked very smart though in order to accomodate the large print it is a little larger than regular bibles.

I was thrilled with this bible, as I had bought it for an elderly friend who was finding it difficult to read hers, she loved it, the only downside is it is a bit bigger than I thought, and she is unable to carry it around with her to church and bible study, but she loves to read it at home, she loves the maps in the back and the leather binding, she says it's lovely. I had this on order elsewhere for months, but eventually cancelled it and bought it from Amazon, it arived very quickly.

It is a good size for a family bible which is what I wanted it for. The print is easy to read. The cover flexible.

Compre esta biblia por menos de 15 euros, realmente impresionante por su grande letra. Único sólo podía pedir una, porque enseguida cambió el precio y lo subió por casi 30 euros.

Riesen-Druckbuchstaben - das tut den Augen so richtig gut durchs entspannte Lesen!Ich konsultiere den Text der KJV immer dann auch noch, wenn ich zusätzlich zu den 3-4 sonst von mir benützten, deutschen Übersetzungen eine stärkere Absicherung der Bedeutung von ausgewählten Passagen in der Bibel benötige.

Envoi rapide et soigné. Une belle bible grande comme je le voulais. la taille est parfaite. Mais bien sur c'est dur de la mettre dans le sac à main, je la garde pour la maison.

I'm a 'Bible'ophile, that is, my interests include Bible Studies. I have already four copies of the Bible—three compact editions and a relatively bigger one. However, I had been looking for a larger, easy-on-the-eye edition, which I also wanted to be a KJ/Authorized Version. And my search for the same ended when I came across this edition here. The edition is what it says: "Giant Print." The font size is 15.5. However, it doesn't look garish or childish given the overall size of the book. The words of Jesus Christ are highlighted in red in the New Testament. There are color maps and a few interesting write-ups. The imitation leather binding looks great. However, the paper, as can be expected in books having a large number of pages, is somewhat thin, and one has to handle the pages with care to avoid damaging them inadvertently. Well, finally I have got a copy of the Bible where I don't have to struggle to locate a verse.
