Hello C, the 40ml Paint Set Canvas Holder will hold 2FL oz paint tubes, although it is a tight squeeze - the soft canvas does indeed stretch a little enabling the paint tubes to be pushed into the pouches. The pouches are designed to accommodate 1.4FL oz paint tubes...

The photo of the product shows elastic bands to help secure tubes & velcro at the sides to further secure the flap.  Are these new features?

Hi Morgan, our Daveliou™ handmade 24 slot artist 40ml (1.4FL oz – can stretch to accommodate 2FL oz paint tubes depending on the type / size of tube) Paint Tube Holder has been redesigned in response to customer feedback / suggestions / requests.  We have 1 of the old stock remaining in Amazon and once this is sold we will be sending in the new stock this week – it would seem that Amazon has put up our new image without our authority and removed all 9 of our original images – we are selling this new design in the UK and Amazon has transposed the new image.  It now includes 2 inner flaps with Velcro strips that hold the flaps closed in order to provide an added secure function when rolled-up.  In addition, we have incorporated elastic tabs and reduced the pouch depth so that the paint tubes are visible which help identify what paint tubes / colors / implements are located in each of the 24 pouches.

These paint tube holders are manufactured in our manufacturing facility working in partnership with some of the finest paint and brush making families, helping to pioneer new artist tools, working hard to understand the newest technologies, but always respecting the tradition of a hand crafted product.
