Buy FW 190 Radial engine paint, markings, and production: NDW by McDermott, Bryan (ISBN: 9798987377901) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Poor quality - Very poor cheap production. Not impressed. Sent it back. Review: Not bad - Pity was printed on cheaper not so white matt paper, would have been better on brighter white smooth paper. This would have made the pictures and drawings alot better. This was the only thing wrong, would have got 4/5 stars otherwise. Hope future volumes better

...by far. Long time Luftwaffe modeler, especially in late war camo and markings. I've read practically everything out there, analyzed the differences of opinions, and reached my own conclusions. This author has done a very comprehensive study and his findings really resonate with me. If you cross the exigencies of wartime, with the de-centralization of production, and supply/transportation issues, with the individual interpretation of directives by the various factories, and even individuals, what you would end up with is something very close to the photographic evidence, as presented here. So for modelers of late war FW-190A8/F8 production, here you go. A new twist the author brings to the table is tying the most likely factory, to the style of components seen, and then using this as a guide to provisionally recreate the finish of those other parts, un-seen. He does this by tying together those factories which most likely provided sub-components to each other, in each Werk Number block. This is huge for the modeler; from one or two photos you can provisionally re-create the whole aircraft, with a higher amount of probable accuracy than before. This whole 3-part series gives you more bang for the buck than many other references combined. Highly recommended.

La información desplegada es muy valiosa pero la edición es horrible. Es una pena que no se cuide más la manera en presentar el esfuerzo de recabar tantos datos, podría ser una excelente guía.

I can only confirm what other, more-detailed reviews say about this series; the books are extremely well researched and invaluable to model builders and anyone else interested in the “Butcher Bird”. Top notch!

Le thème abordé est très intéressant. Cependant, déçu par la qualité de base du papier employé. Ça mérité mieux !
