Purchased as a gift for a friend overseas as they are looking for inspiration & hoping to start a business.I like that this book covers a variety of occasions, covering simplier designs to anniversary to more show stopping designs for Birthday, Halloween, days out / tea party etc.The beginning of the book gives you the base RECEIPES for the cakes, icings, buttercream, vegan & gluten free options. Equipment & Techniques, Tips are also covered in the beginning chapter.The book then moves on to the different cakes by category: Fruits and Flowers, Spectacular Celebrations, Candy Land, Psychedelic Treats, Magical Days Out and Decadent Divas.I have to give a special mention to the Hello Petal! Cake, Fallen Fruit Chocolate Cake & Couture Stiletto Cupcakes - which are S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G.I am not a baker, because I have a terrible sweet tooth & need to lose weight but I would love to be able to bake a beautiful cake for family member/ friend door those special occasions & may just buy one of these books for myself & try "my hand".Well worth the money & a beautiful gift for someone or inspiration for your own cake decorating endeavors.

Step by step instructions and clear images make this book easy to follow.Pink edging makes it stand out on the shelf. I find its more of an inspiration book, where you flick through and edit the ideas, rather than following the step by step guide- this might be because I've a few too many cake books!It has a lot of the current trends (marble glaze etc) covered.Nice variety of projects.

Great book with some really good ideas! I would say the book is aimed at those who aren’t beginners as the designs look quite complex

Got this book for my daughter who love making cakes . She loves it . She loves the all diffrent tipes of cakes . Good for starters. Worth it .
