Not as expected
Bought item in order to use a mic with lightning connector on other devices with type C port however mic does not work on any other type c devices, so it is only useful as a charger

A great product
I just bought a Macbook Air and an iPad Air and they all have UBS-C adapters instead of Lightning connectors (traditionally MacBook Air has USB-C connector and iPad has Lightning connector). Unfortunately my wired earphone has Lightning connector. This adapter helps me keep using the wired earphone. The adapter works very well and the sound quality is great. Happy with the purchase. Note: This adapter is only for Audio and can't be used to charge the MacBook Air or the iPad Air. At this time iPhones still have Lightning connectors so this product is not needed for the iPhone.

works perfect!
it works perfect with my ipad 10th gen and my earpods with lightning connector (the earpods that used to come with iphones). and the shipping was fast. there is no loss in the sound quality, it works perfect for audio.

Ruined my phone
Sounds great but it ruined my phone. After using this adapter my phone no longer charges using a cord. It must be placed on a wireless charger. There was no indication that there was an improper fit and this adapter still works with the headphones. It just made my phone not recognize the regular cords anymore. Now I have to replace my phone. Don't buy this if you ever need to charge using the cable (like in your car, on the go without a wireless charger).
