DR Heavyweight Gummed Pad A2, GDAHWPA2

Arrived way before the estimated deliver time, and in splendid condition! I was a bit worried about knicks or something, but there was nothing! The paper was not wrapped in plastic, but securely packaged with 2 layers of cardboard so it survived the delivery without any issues. Paper itself is top-notch. Sturdy, thick and smooth. Love it! I usually work with Hahnemühle paper, but decided to switch to D&R after having some issues, and I think going forward I'll keep using this paper from D&R for my detailed drawings.

Great paper to use for calligraphy work . Strong and does no bleed. Good value for money.

I've been buying Frisk cartridge paper sketchpads but they keep increasing in price so I looked for alternatives. This pad came up in my search and it has a higher gsm but costs less. I've got one to try and it is excellent. Very good value for money and even though cheaper than the Frisk pad, it is better quality. Daler-Rowney, you got yourself a new customer.

I haven’t tried because it will be a present, by it looks like a very high quality paper.

When using a permanent marker there is some bleed through onto the reverse side of the page and the following if not careful enough. the colour is good, the page thickness is good apart from the above mentioned, it has also been used with watercolour paints no problems. The size if good, it is sturdy over all good value for money, using for sketching is good, especially when single line drawing.

This is a good quality paper for anyone starting out with graphite drawing. Recommended.

I acquired this for drawing using graphite tools. Wonderful canvas for that. It has a great surface, and good weight.
