Got one of these via the Amazon Vine program and was pleased so happily bought a second one as you really need two.Having had, off and on for a few years, a tennis elbow type problem that recently seems to have fully settled I wanted to cautiously regain forearm strength. Although I already had 2 sets of hand grips, one was too strong to use at present and the other, slightly milder than this at its lowest setting, is too uncomfortable to use due to hard, unpadded, narrow plastic handles.This is comfortable to use with both handle parts having rubberised grips that also prevent slipping. The range from 5kg to 60kg (dubious if figures correct) is adjusted by turning the knob, with about 34 half-turns between the 2 extremes, so quite fine adjustment. The handles are a bit short and although I have smallish hands there isn't room for my little finger, which just fits onto the end if partly overlapping the ring finger. That's not a major problem in my case but might be for people with large hands. Would be 5 stars if handles longer.

This arrived rusty and looks either second hand or left out in the damp.

The media could not be loaded.  The springs seem solid, just worried about the plastic parts cracking. The handle is comfortable to hold and does not slip. The handle has a thin layer of rubber material that covers the handle where the fingers rest.It helps me build my hand strength like a small exercise, and it's small enough to take up no space.The strength can be adjusted from 5-60kg, but the strength obtained by rotating the adjustment may not be too accurate. I adjusted it according to the grip strength.
