A great inside look at the history of the Harvey houses/Harvey gilrs - well written, entertaining, and not stressful; exactly what I look for in a good book.

Very well written, captures your imagination and takes you right into that era. Characters are believable, story is awesome. Must read it!

I loved the story line. It was also very interesting to learn the history of the Harvey Girls.

I have always had an infatuation with the Harvey House and Harvey Girls since my mother told me that we ate at one on a train ride to Kansas City when I was little.Joyce is great intermingling the history with romance.I was cheering for the main characters to get together through the entire story.Delightful!

My own grandmother was a Harvey House girl, so I was delighted to win my own copy of Romance Along the Rails. If you're looking for a western tale set in a bygone era when the railroad was the preferred mode of transportation, then you'll love this story! This Christian romance has twists and turns as well as interesting information about an American institution, the Harvey Houses that provided fine dining all throughout Kansas and the central part of our United States.

Loved this book. Well written. Held my interest. Sweet love story. Lots of history. Good Christian morals. I am looking forward to Joyce’s next book.
