Great air pump
I have always used these air pumps for my aquariums. Not silent but very quiet

Effective, efficient relatively quiet
This pump is quite large, and weighs almost a kilo, it's effective, efficient and the quietest air pump I've owned. My last one a Boyu, was at least 4 times louder. All round excellent quality air pump.

You can hear it. A little over priced.
Was not as silent as I had expected, I actually bought this to replace a much cheaper twin outlet air pump worth only £12 I have been running for the best part of 5 months straight, which I thought was probably a bit noisy compared to say something in this price bracket. It turns out that I was wrong, while this is a good pump and produces a great stream of bubbles through anything, air stone, air tubing ect. It's just not as quiet as I thought it was going to be based on the other reviews I had seen here.I would say great pump, but just that price point is a little too much, in aquatic retailers this pump is priced the vast majority of the time over the £30 mark, which even after Amazons good price for £25, it's probably still a little too much, considering the performance isint far away from the lesser known brand one I've used previously that only cost £12 brand new.

Decent pump
I wanted a decent pump as my other pump packed in I’m very happy with the product very powerful but I like the the fact you can reduce how many bubbles you need with the required valves

Good choice
this product arrived swiftly and i am very impressed with it. Its not as quiet as i had imagined but is quieter than my last less powerful pump. If its not level it can be a little noiser than would be acceptable but thats easy to solve isnt it!!!!! Great little product for the price.

Really good
This is good, silent if in a cupboard, slight buzz if out of it, I put mine on a sponge mat wiper thing, the ones that are thin and dry quite hard you know

Tetra APS400 Silent Aquarium Air Pump
Very efficient but not quiet, it's that noisy we have had to put it in the conservatory and run a length of air hose 20 feet to the aquarium. Our previous pump (same model) was quiet, but not this one.
