Although it looked to be turquoise in color online, it's actually emerald green. It's very nice and will be good to protect my pearl necklace in the years to come.

The case is velvet glued to a hollow plastic shell. There is an indented ring inside to place the Pearl necklace. But the lid doesn’t touch the necklace when closed so it doesn’t stay in the ring, it just slides around inside the case. Wish I’d kept the packaging so I could return it.

I purchased this gift box to put a necklace in for my mother. The box was wonderful for presentation! It is a beautiful color. The elastics help hold the necklace in place. It seems like a sturdy box to tavel with. I wanted something that could be traveled with and protect the necklace.
