Highly recommended, easy to grow
Bought one of these last year in June, and was really pleased with the quality and size of the plant for the price. It was healthy, had a really good root ball, was a decent size, in a 9 cm pot, and well packed, so no damage during transit. I planted it into a fabric grow bag with a geranium, and it grew really quickly. It survived the winter with a bit of protection during coldest period - managed to stuff it into one of those frost protection bags made of the non-woven fabric. It did get some brown leaf tips towards the end of winter, but has now fully recovered. I neglected to pinch the tips of the stems, so they've grown really long, and started hanging down, but that's easy to rectify and it's branching nicely now I've pinched some tips. Also, was amazed at how easy it is to grow cuttings from it - if you stick a few stems in water, roots start to grow within a day. Within a week, there are enough roots to support the plant and fill a 9 cm pot.. You need to plant them within 2 weeks of putting in water, tops, otherwise, the roots tend to rot again, if left in water too long, as they grow so quickly to start with. Am now going to try keeping one in a pot indoors - haven't actually got round to using any for cooking yet, but the leaves smell lovely when you brush against them, and am sure it a great herb for cooking. Maybe with one indoors, will finally get to try it out.. I highly recommend this plant, and this seller - have bought quite few herbs from them over the years, they have a good range, and all were good quality, size and in good health on arrival.

Lovely quality live plant. Year round, culinary use leaf - Peppery, hot and spicy. Tropical perennial. Fuss free.
I was absolutely delighted with the quality of this Vietnamese Coriander plant I'd ordered.Delivery was super swift, and the plant was protectively packaged. Decent sized four inch pot, full of root, but not pot bound, the top growth fresh, healthy, with loads of leafy shoots. All the leaves and shoots were in great condition. The uploaded photos were taken a couple of hours after the plant was received (November '16). Amazing. A lovely, good sized plant and big enough for me to use a few leaves straight away.Vietnamese Coriander is difficult to find and I was delighted to find plants available on Amazon.I use the leaves in stir fries, or chopped and added as a top dressing like you'd add coriander or basil leaves to Asian dishes or sprinkled on salads to pep them up a bit.The leaves are quite hot and spicy like fresh chilli, but with a slightly citrus note. This is a super plant which will live on the kitchen windowsill - it's a tropical perennial, so will be in leaf all year, not troubled by pests. It reaches a maximum size of around a half to one metre. Keep the growing tips pinched out to keep the plant nice and bushy and stop it getting straggly. It grows fast, and is ideal for tubs and pots. Can live outside in summer, but needs to be kept in a sunny spot, Plenty of water but well drained. General purpose compost is fine, as is general purpose fertilizer, but it can't take a frost. That's how I lost my last one. I'll be more careful with this one, now I've found it again, and I'm well made up to have been sent such a lovely plant.Thank you.

Not my cup of tea, but healthy on arrival
2 very healthy looking plants. They grew very vigorously but I can't stand the flavour so I pulled them up. They taste nothing like coriander, more like spicy washing up liquid.

Very giod value
Very pleasantly surprised. Having searched online and in stores for Vietnamese coriander I found it here via Amazon. It was so cheap I didn’t expect much but it arrived promptly, well packaged and a large healthy plant in good quality compost ready to be potted on. Also bought an orange thyme and lemon verbena at the same time and they are just as impressive. I will definitely use this seller again whenever I need herbs.
