Great replacement for broken API test kit tubes
Broke a couple of my Pond API test kit glass test tubes (the plastic tops got stuck on and as I twisted and pulled the glass tube broke in my hand) so needed replacements. Looked at the genuine API glass ones and nearly had a heart failure at the price they wanted for them!!! These tubes are plastic and come with screw tops. They are larger than the API ones so won’t fit in the storage holes in the test kit box (but I just lay them flat when stored because they’re empty anyway), but I feel being larger they allow the water and test fluid to mix better. My labels (written with a Sharpie pen) don’t rub off as easy as they did on the glass tubes either. I would certainly recommend if you’re after replacement tubes.
