Works as it should, basic and easy to use

The only complaint I have for the Pen is that the noise produced by the pen is extreme and disturbed people in other rooms in the house. I am really disappointed for this reason because I can only use the item in an area where there are no people or not able to use the pen only during certain hours of the day or nite. I would be tempted to return the pen for this reason. I hope there is another solution

Okay this works fantastically! I bought it for some items that went into his dorm room. People said things may get stolen so I thought I'd mark what we could as a deterrent. Back of the mini fridge, the top of the microwave, top of convection oven, etc. We even etched his Rubbermaid foot locker. It comes with stencils to make your letters perfect, I used tape to hold in place as I etched. It's sorta loud on the highest setting, but works great! I'm sure there will be other items that we will be etching over time. I also photographed each item and where the etching is. And fyi after researching it most people state you should etch something that you can prove. So your initials, last 4 of your phone, last 4 of your social (which I wasn't comfortable with), drivers license (which I wasn't comfortable with), etc. So I chose our address. This will probably not be something that I do, but if you go looking for your stolen items at yard sales or pawn shops & find something, you can call the police & show them how the etching belongs to you. Then you get your item back.

Its 110 volt not useful in our country we use only 220 volt So u must be sure before u buy

I find this tool much better then other models in general. The pins don't wear down or break like I've seen on other models. With 3 pins, this item will probably last me a lifetime...
