I have purchased these as mixing pallets for Oil Painting, They are perfect! they are plain, translucent, very flat and smooth with no texture on the back side. just what i wanted

The glass is strong and clear and these worksavers are good for hot saucepans/dishes etc. on worktops requiring a little more care. I went from a worktop which seemed to survive anything to granite work surfaces which are much harder work to keep clean and you have to be so careful with hot saucepans. I managed to get a ring mark from a hot cup of tea someone put on the granite only a few days after it was installed and it was supposedly sealed. This is why I bought the worktop protectors. I use a large one alongside my hob for the kettle to stand on and make tea/coffee on and I have another one for saucepans etc. They look good all the time they are clean but dust and bits somehow manage to get underneath them and can make the area look messy. The large one is quite heavy and awkward to lift to wash and dry. They do the job but also need attention too to keep them looking nice!

I ordered the set of 3 different sizes - excellent value for money and exactly what I wanted to protect my new solid wood worktop without hiding the surface. Highly recommend.

good product, expensive but heavy and well made, I have granite worktops in my kitchen and need to protect them from hot plates, saucepans, etc. these products did just the job and allowed me to see the worktops as well.
