How long does smoke color last in air? Curious how long we have to take pics!

Several factors and outdoor conditions can affect the air hang time for the powder and confetti. We recommend capturing a video or that your photographer uses burst mode for collecting many images. The powder is more vibrant and dense as it is released into the air and dissipates in about 10 seconds as it blossoms into the air. You'll also have the added color of the confetti, which typically has a longer hang time! How to make your photos better? Choose an outdoor location where you have wind coverage, SHAKE-SHAKE-SHAKE your cannon to loosen the powder, adults usage only - these cannons are not meant for children under 18, and always hold your cannon straight up and down (top & bottom marked clearly on the cannon) AND NEVER hold the cannon at an angle or aim the bottom of the cannon at your body or anyone else. The bottom of the cannon should always face the ground, and the top of the cannon should face the sky!

Any advice when working with the wind ? Aim toward or against it for better results ?

Accepted Answer

Windy conditions will usually not produce the best effect for photos. We would suggest finding a place to shoot the cannons where you have as much wind blocking coverage as possible. Cannons should always be held straight with top facing the sky and bottom facing the ground (please see infographic and read warnings and directions). If you’re still fighting a really windy day, have people taking photos from different angles to get the best captured effect!

Does it say what cannon is what gender and does it come with a black sticker to hide it?

Yes. The bottom of the confetti cannon has either a blue or pink round sticker on the bottom of cannon. Black stickers are also included with this set to cover the colored stickers if you don’t wish to remove it, or cover any residual glue leftover after removal of colored sticker.
