No sound difference noticed with or without these tube savers. Construction is very solid too. Recommended.

Does as intended; I used this with a tube tester to save the socket on the tester which I had already worn to loose status and then tightened with some dental implements.I had to retest my tubes due to an update to it's software and getting different results after the upgrade. So, solving a problem with this.I used one for about 1200 cycles worth, and in that time the last maybe 300 I had to tighten up the socket by bending the connection points with dental tools, which then it'd be fine for about 75-100 tubes then need it again. Up until that point it was fine. The 2nd one in this order I've not used yet.It's a simple device but does the job as I had intended.

Not cheap but good quality. Works well with my lyr tube headphones amp. No problems taking in or out of the socket. If you do use a few set of tubes a lot, maybe its better to get a few sets of this socket. Worth it for people that need to tube rolling often.

Way overpriced for what it is. Chinese tube risers are a much better value if you can wait for them. Shipping time really sucks!!

Seems like an excellent quality tube saver / extender. I found it easy to use, tight fit is a good thing, yet it wasn't difficult to separate tube from the extender. I like the fact that the base is black to match my equipment.
