Monin Black Forest Syrup 1 ltr

Bought to add flavour to generic hot chocolate and they've not been cheap on the flavouring as this hits big.If you're expecting a light splash of cherry to a drink then use sparingly as this really packs flavour into your drinks and is great on ice cream sundaes with a thick syrup.Overall very versatile from drinks to desserts and it's a big bottle so will last quite some time.

Tastes amazing and goes perfect in my hot chocolate. A large bottle and a little goes a long way so should last a while.

In view of Costa not offering black forest hot chocolate this year, we decided to bypass and try this. Its close! Tastes around 95% like it.

Lovely syrup but very sickly and very runny not as thick as I was hoping but does make a nice hot chocolateYou don't need much

Well I bought myself a proper coffee machine with a proper milk Frother mainly because everytime I went to down I went to costa and bought a large gingerbread latte when I got to town and then another for one way home which is very expensive...the gingerbread latte is my all time fave coffee and I did mainly get the machine just to do my own...and yep it all tastes as it should though with me making it ..it always tastes how I like it where as each time I went to costa the coffee was either too strong....too weak too much syrup or too little depending on who made it.Then I saw this Black forest and I instantly remembered me having a binge of the black forest hot chocs when I used to work in town so I had to buy it and its fantastic and a great price too I think for 1 ltr which does last.....since its just for me.Right now I am just using the normal Cadbury hot choc the one in the old fashioned card blue container with the blue plastic lid ( it used to have that hot choc mug on that was the shape of a chunk of chocolate....unless it still does :/)which does the job BUT i will be trying some more expensive hot chocs.

Unfortunately I usually have good experiences with monin syrups like the caramels and vanillas which are fantastic, however, the black forest syrup just.... isn't great. From the coffees I have tried using with this, it just never paired well at all and so I only ever used it with hot chocolate where it was slightly more palatable but really not amazing either. Personally I would just have used a regular cherry syrup and it would've been a better experience. Sadly just not the one for me.
