RIEDEL Decanter Glass cleaning balls

If you own any Riedel decanters (or any other brands for that matter) you must buy these cleaning beads. Unfortunately I did not purchase them until I had owned my decanter for over a year and although I always soak and wash it out after use by hand, It has stained with the tannings from the wine. These beads have managed to remove most of the build up, however I am certain had I always used them to clean the decanter it would be as new now

Very good and cleans decanter with red wine or port residue. Make sure you have a fine tea strainer to catch the balls and clean them on kitchen towel before you store them.

Just the job. Cannot understand why other reviwers say they don't work - thay do for me!

Following the instructions, these beads do not remove stains and marks from our decanter. Yes, it was slightly marked, hence why I bought these, but they have made no difference at all!! Any suggestions??

pUÑADO DE BOLITAS DE ACERO INOXIDABLE (DE VERDAD, NO SE OXIDA) Y las ehas en el fondo de una botella, un florero, lo que quieras limpiar que sea profundo, yo lo sueo echar con un embudio para no perder las bolitas. Yo lo tengo desde hace mas de 10 años y no habia vuelto a verlo, asi que lo cuidaba como oro en paño. Echas una gota de jabon u un poco de agua y agitas, limpia TODO. Despues los saco a un colador para no perder las bolitas, las acklaro y espero que sequen para guardarlas. La botella se aclara y queda como los chorros del oro. Es una tonteria de cosa, pero maravillosa.

Praktisch vor allem deshalb, da einem der Einsatz von Chemikalien (Zitronen-/Essigsäure) erspart bleibt, um Verunreinigungen zu lösen. Klar, wenn diese sich mittlerweile einbrannten können die Kugeln auch nicht viel bewegen bzw. komplett alles lösen. Aber zur regelmäßigen Reinigung sind sie optimal. Ich selbst nutzte die Kugeln zum Reinigen von Karaffen und Edelstahlflaschen. Bisher konnten sie auf ganzer Linie überzeugen. Kleiner Nebeneffekt - es macht krach! Das ist aber auch logisch, da nun einmal Edelstahl auf Glas/Edelstahl trifft. Trotz Wasser bleibt ein guter Geräuschpegel über, was mich jedoch nicht stört. Due Kugeln sind alle sehr gut verarbeitet, keine Kanten zu sehen/spüren, so dass der Einsatz in Glas auch gefahrlos vonstatten geht. Hier darf man einfach keine Angst vor haben. Zum Auffangen eignet sich ein feines Sieb, hinterher etwas abtropfen lassen und danach unbedingt gut trocknen (bspw. mit Küchenpapier). Nur wenn die Kugeln nach ihrem Einsatz gut getrocknet werden halten sie für eine Ewigkeit. Von daher lohnt sich die Investition allemal.
