Thermostatic Radiator Valve Set - Realm Chrome Radiator Valves inc. Corner TRV & Lockshield

I purchased this set to fit the pictured designer radiator. We are refurbishing our house and fitting acoustically de-coupled walls which allowed for a small cavity in front of the brick and plaster wall - this allowed the perfect opportunity to fit pipework 'in the wall' without actually touching the pre-existing brick adjoining wall.The set feels to be of good quality heavy metal and have nice rounded edges on the nuts - however be careful when fitting as an adjustable spanner can slip and scratch the surface.The lock shield looks to be very high quality with an Allen key adjustable valve, which felt smooth when adjusting and a machine threaded cap that screws on nicely with multiple threads before being seated.The only negative I can see is the TRV feels a little too 'plasticy' for my taste and the Drayton TRV it seems to be modelled on (TRV4) is far weightier and smoother in operation. However it works fine in operation.I will definitely be buying more sets in the future.

Going through a wall in our bedroom so saw this pair of valves and after reading the reviews purchased them and they have just arrived.This really is a quality good looking product. I purchase TRV's from Screwfix but did not have this type, and also not of this quality.I served my time as a Heating Engineer in the mid 70's and these valves remind me of the chrome valves I used to fit as an apprentice 👌

Ordered a replacement as my thermostatic head was accidentally damaged. Ordered on Monday and arrived Tuesday, bearing in mind it came from mainland to Jersey. That is impressive. Fits perfectly and feels better quality than cheaper versions. Highly recommend.

Bought this during a bathroom refurbishment. These arrived quickly and they look the perfect match for a Chrome Radiator. The best part is that the valves are flush against the wall in-line with the radiator and not sticking outward. This makes it suitable for small bathrooms where moving space is a premium. Its heavy and solidly built, very shiny and installs perfectly. I would highly recommend this item.

Great product for a low price and not a single scratchWhich u normally get when it comes to chrome products. And a nice touch on the pack of Haribo they put in the packaging

Seems to be a good solid product and very straight forward to install, haven’t really had chance to test fully as it’s summer but turn rad off Ian’s on when testing

Good quality parts. Fitted them with my new towel rail and they look good. Quality is better than ones I bought from a national plumbing company on the high street so pleased with the final result.
