Are some of the comments correct in saying the tails don’t fit standard uk 15 mm pipes so an adapter is neeeded

They will fit 15mm pipes but just to make sure,buy two 15mm olives from your local builders providers and swap them for the olives that are supplied with the taps and you shouldn't have any problems.
