Too small and too expensive
Save your money with this purchase. It is way too small, and way too expensive for how horrible it is. The top plate is shaky and sometimes shadows your sublimation. It is not stable either. I had to use 10 lb dumbbells to hold it down. I purchased this heat press in January 2023, and it stopped working 5 months later(June 2023). It no longer heats past 74°. This purchase was a huge disappointment.

Has some good qualities but really missed the mark with regard to one important component
I had no experience with heat presses, DTF, or sublimation upon ordering this product and I was honestly so excited to try it. I’d been wanting to break into other areas of crafting (I’m an avid crafter and artist and I had had my eye on heat transferring and sublimation for some time), so I thought this product would finally help me reach my goal. I was mistaken. The product was generally very easy to assemble despite the directions being somewhat less than clear. I liked the various attachments that allow pressing on round material and whatnot. Howler, the time and temperature control settings were hard to set. There weren’t clear users instructions either. I pretty much has to “wing” it and hope for the best. The bottom plate and its covered cushion were very heat resistant which was a plus. However, the heat distribution was absolutely terrible. The center becomes hot to the point that it melts the decal yet the outer edges of the decal haven’t even transferred due to lack of heat. Even though I made sure all of the material to be transferred was covered by the top plate, the outside edges would not adhere. Also, it is quite difficult to get the fabric between the plates without burning yourself. Perhaps if I remained new to heat presses I would be pleased with this product. However, I soon came to own another heat press that worked much much better. With a frame of reference I was very disappointed with this product.

Good, but...
I like the size of this press and it does get hot and really press. However, I encountered some issues. The first was that the power plug doesn't fit snug into the machine. Therefore, the press will only stay "on" when the plug is in a very precise way. Swinging the top away makes the plug shift out of the precise position and it turns off and immediately starts cooling off. Then I have to turn it on again by wiggling the plug a little. This is very tedious and makes it hard to use the machine. That's the worst part. If the press swung to the left, the plug probably wouldn't dislodge as much but the plug is on the right and it swings right. As a left-handed person, I can deal with the right swing, but swinging left would be better. The instructions are terrible. It requires a bunch of trial and error to figure out what to do. Getting to the temperature with a "half turn to the right" is weird, not described well, and not user-friendly. Individual control buttons would have been sooo much better. The dial thing is not great.A few tweaks would make this a really awesome machine. As it is, it's serviceable with a lot of extra effort.

Nice little press
It is easy bro use, the size is smaller than I would like and the top swings to the side which makes it tip over. There is one extra leg the swings out from underneath the unit to stabilize it so that it will not tip if you swing the top to the right, which in my case is not optimal for where I have it placed, it would be better if that leg would also go out the the left side of the unit so that the top of the unit could be pushed to the left side.It heated well and fairly quickly, it has timer beepers and the temp and time setting are easy to put in. I am not a fan of the swing top rather than a clam type top which makes access to the where the item being pressed much easier.

Sublimation press
Pretty easy to put together. I've tried a couple of toublers and I wasn't impressed. I'm sure they will turn out better with more patience and a lot more practice.
