Nice piece of stuff, feels solid and allows you to change the exposure of the blade. Just 3 drawbacks: 1. Wet hands will have some hard times to grip on the handle. 2. Positioning the blade when changing it can be a "wobbly" task. 3. Hold the head from the sides otherwise you will cut your fingers.

Just recently I've started wet shaving with a double edge safety razor. It's been a bit of trail and error but it's actually a joy to shave now. I've tried most of the disposal ones which always seem to flare up my skin up into unsightly blotches. I now use Proraso pre-shave and after shave Balm which I find great. Well anyway I've tried quite a few razors I found the expensive ones a pain and really didn't do a nice job. But this little beauty is fantastic great weight easy to change blades and with being adjustable it's allows you to do a medium pass followed with a nice close pass. It's exceptional quality for the price it's now my daily driver. My partner says my skin has never looked so fresh, that might be the creams ect but it's nice she has noticed. So honestly give it a try, I think your be well pleased. You might get the odd nick but I think that's down to experience not the tool. Happy shaving..

You cannot really fault this item, even considering it is a clone of the original German Futur. It is well made and came complete with stand and leather travel cover. So, no reason not to give 5 stars for its quality and value for money.As for using it, this is my first foray into the world of double-edged razors and I clearly have plenty to learn. For, whilst my first shave with about three days growth was good, I did suffer a little with neck rash. This will not deter me, though, and should not be read as criticism for the product. Multi-blade disposable razors are clearly much easier to use. But, it has bothered me for a long while that I have, over the years, thrown away loads of used plastic cartridges and decided it was time to stop. I recommend searching YouTube for demos on using this type of razor. They are very helpful and I am certain over time I will get as good a, if not a closer, shave from my new double-edge. Strangely, my first shave was quite a mindful and therapeutic experience mixed with some nostalgia, as I pictured, in my mind's eye, my late father's double-edged razor sitting on the shelf above the basin in the family bathroom of my teenage years.Oh, and blades for this (none came with razor) are so cheap, there's money to be saved very quickly.All round, I am delighted with my purchase and will persevere until I am proficient.

This is a nice quality copy of the Merkur - but the head is to large for me. I can't see past it to trim side burns and I can't get it under my nose to get a clean top lip.The adjustable feature made a noticeable difference to shaving comfort but I couldn't get a baby smooth shave out of it ( my everyday shave is a Merkur 23 and I get excellent results with this).

Good product works well

After around 6 months sitting on a shelf in my bathroom the chrome coating has come off the stand – seems to be silver paint on top of some poor-quality substrate. I thought it was a solid metal base but apparently not. Better to buy wthout the stand and source a differnt type elsewhere. The shaver itself seems fine.

Didnt take too long to get used to and gives a very good shave (obviously this is also dependent on the blades you use - I recommend Astra). Shaves are a lot quicker and easier than when using cartridge razors (inc the Gillette Mk3). It took a bit of getting used to shaving below my nose but the results are very good.A lot cheaper than the German brand its copying (1/2 price) and I doubt you would be able to tell the difference when shaving with them back to back. Adjustment can be a little stiff but nothing to complain about.....just be careful how you hold it! Best start off on the finest setting (1) and work up).The base/ stand is nothing special and can be picked up cheaper separately.All in all a decent razor and would make a very nice gift set for Christmas ;-)I'm just so pleased to get away from using ridiculously expensive and short lived cartridge razors!

La lame n'est pas centrée, elle coupe nettement plus fort d'un côté que de l'autre, d'où coupures fréquentes. Le rasoir n'est pas usiné correctement.

No se como será la Merkur porque no la tengo ni la e probado, pero estoy más que satisfecho con la compra.Un afeitado perfecto si sabes lo que haces.Que se pueda regular el ángulo de ataque de la cuchilla es la caña.Yo personalmente la primera pasada la pongo muy agresiva,al 5 o al maximo y a favor del pelo.Segunda pasada lateralmente bajando la a eso del 3.Si quieres un afeitado muy muy apurado una tercera pasada a contrapelo poniendo el ángulo de ataque de la cuchilla lo más suave posible o como mucho al 2.Venia de otra cuchilla y el cambio a sido increible!

J'ai acheté ce rasoir de sûreté il y a plus d'un mois. Le système de "clips" pourrait sembler dangereux lorsqu'on veut retirer ou mettre une lame mais il y a moyen de le faire, facilement, sans risque de se couper. De plus il semble assez solide.Le réglage de l'exposition de la lame de 1 à 6 fait bien son boulot, je sens une réelle différence.Le support fournit avec est bien pratique et l'étui très utile lorsqu'on le prend avec nous à l'étranger.Comparé à un rasoir multi-lames disponible en grande surface, un rasoir de sûreté est vraiment plus efficace, plus hygiénique (facile à nettoyer), plus durable et surtout moins agressif pour la peau.Que vous soyez novice ou expert, ce rasoir en vaut vraiment la peine.J'utilise ce rasoir pour ma barbe mais si vous êtes une femme, je vous le recommande tout autant, les effets seront les mêmes (surtout pour les jambes par exemple) !Les plus :- le design- le support- la brosse pour nettoyer les poils qui resteraient sur le rasoir- l'étui- le packaging bien pensé parfait si vous souhaitez offrir.En conclusion, je suis un client très satisfait tant par la qualité du produit que par la qualité offerte par son rasage.

Al di sopra delle aspettative. Buona costruzione, considerando che si tratta di un rasoio economico replica di brand ben più costosi. Può essere un approccio al regolabile. In accoppiata con le Astra verdi, non è difficile prendere dimestichezza con le sei posizioni del Gap.
