This camping lantern works amazingly just don't look right into it otherwise it might blind you, I love that it has a little hanging strap so you can put it around poles or posts.I fully charged it and let it run on the lowest setting and it was still going after 8 hours, it'll be definitely be handy when I go camping or if there's ever a power outage in the future.I haven't tested the water durability but it seems like it'll hold up just fine to the occasional rain when I'm camping. At full brightness it lights up my entire bedroom, it's going to be perfect for when I'm setting up my campsite at night or when I need to grab something in the dark.USB-c rechargeable is also a nice touch because it's what all of my other devices use.

It’s really bright, even on the lowest setting. It charged well and it’s lightweight, so it would be nice for a tent or camping. One of my kids likes to use it in the reading nook under her loft bed.Personally I hate the light - it’s too white for me, but it doesn’t bother my kids.

The idea behind this lamp is actually pretty....um...brilliant. It's size, shape, and weight plus the ability to secure it around posts or hang it on loops all make it a feasible lighting solution in situations other types of lamps may not be so convenient. Charges quickly via a type-C jack and does emit a decent amount of light for about 5 hours (on high) on one charge. You can control the power of the light with one switch, allowing the user to turn the unit on or off and cycle between a strong, medium, or weak light depending on which suits the present need.It's fairly well assembled and I think it would be incredibly handy to have on hand during a power outage, during a day or overnight hike, or for a kid's fort/backyard camp out. The batteries do remain secure in the housing, but I'm not sure this thing could take a lot of abuse should it be dropped or gotten wet. I admit that I didn't test it in the face of anything too rigorous, so I can't speak to its durability under more trying circumstances. I felt the price point was a bit steep for what you get, but in all, it appears to be a reliable and effective lighting solution provided the conditions aren't too severe.

I like this light quite a bit due to its unique design. There is a puck on a strap (orange part) that can detach from the body and allow you to securely hook the light around a post or bar. This is great because most other similar items only have a continuous loop that makes hanging more difficult. The light is bright white but has a frosted front so it’s ok on the eyes. There is a single button on the back to cycle through its three settings (bright, medium, and low) - which I like. No strange button press combinations to remember. From fully charged (USB C) battery, I was able to get a solid 6 hours on the low setting which is more than advertised. Build quality is excellent for this price point and the light is certainly quite handy for a bit of camping or a power outage.

Nice well made light. The fit and finish leaves nothing really to complain about. It produces a good amount of really diffused light. That's nice as there aren't really any hot spots, just good even lighting. I wasn't expecting a light with a very good CRI, so it's not surprising that this is pretty poor in that regard. The light is a bit on the greenish side, less blue than the 6K-7K temp would have led me to believe. I really like that it charges off of USB C, the more of my devices I can charge off of a single cord the better.The one big omission I see over similar lanterns is that most others also work as a power source. This light does not. It never claimed to, but I still feel like that's an omission given the state of the market currently. Also note that there is no water resistance anywhere on this light, not on the battery compartment, the switch, or the USB C port. I would really about getting this wet at all.

The media could not be loaded.  This light has just three light modes (high, medium, and low) plus off. Not many bells and whistles,, so that makes a nice packable for camp. The form factor is a tad strange and it is quite large compared to other camp lights I have. This might impact your decision is you are backpacking.I included a little video clip of disconnecting the "hanging strap" in the back, by the power switch and battery compartment. It is a unique strap thing they have here. I am not sold on its design, yet or eas of hanging. An average carabiner, for example, will have trouble spanning this band to help with hanging.There are four molded feet in the base for sitting it upright, so I am thankful for that design feature!It comes with a nice length USB cable... so, that is a plus.I held back one star because, although unique, I am not sure the design changes makes this any more useful. However the light is nice and the battery life performs really well.
