Good quality
I purchased this as a prop for a 50’s themed wedding reception. When it arrived, I was impressed by the quality. It is sturdy, snaps open quickly and has a solid sound when doing so. It is far superior to the cheap plastic ones and the cost wasn’t excessive. Not sure I would actually comb my hair with it but, all in all, I am pleased with this switch blade comb.

Excellent hardware, not the cheap toys you remember
You probably looked at this and remembered the switchblade comb toys, and you probably also remembered that most of them are really cheap trash with a terrible comb. THIS, though, is made with a metal comb and solid hardware. Everyone who saw this was really impressed with the build quality. I bought 7 more for Christmas presents.

I brought this for my mustache and the teeth are alittle to far apart for that unfortunately. but other than that it's a beautiful solid comb worth the money

Looks Cool, But Useless for Actual Combing
I was excited to try this folding stainless steel comb because it looks sleek and portable, but unfortunately it doesn’t even comb my hair properly. The teeth are too fine and flimsy for anything beyond a very thin beard or mustache. Even on short facial hair, it gets stuck and doesn’t glide smoothly. It feels sturdy in hand and the switchblade design is fun, but if you actually want a comb that works, this is not it. Good as a novelty or pocket accessory, but don’t expect it to tame your hair.

This is primarily a novelty item, but I'm impressed with the build quality of this comb. it's all steel, except for the faux water buffalo horn handles. It has fast action , ideal for making sure every hair stays in place !
