Heated rear window tab repair.
One of my tabs had come unbounded from rear screen, found this on line with mixed reviews, I believe some of the negatives may be to the way people are doing it.I followed instruction on packaging & mine has stuck & continuity is good, by all means watch you tube but just bear in mind that most of them only say to put actuator on screen not tab but packaging says both which is what I did & it seems to work fine.As it’s been warm recently I haven’t been able to see if screen demists, but it did get warm to touch when switched on, so here’s hoping.Tom

Didn't work
Followed instructions to the letter. Tab stuck on OK but the glue is not conductive. Very disappointed.Soldered tab on and all works fine.

Works great
I got it and manage to fix the lose tab, really good adhesion, and after it dried, the defogger works fine again

Works if you follow the instructions
I bought this to re-fix the connector tabs to the rear window demister on a Toyota Aygo hatchback. The instructions are straightforward but very specific about the steps to follow, the amount of adhesive to use, etc. I followed them exactly (eg using only a small drop of adhesive) and the tabs stuck fine. I checked the electrical conductivity after leaving to dry for 24 hours and that's okay too.The only concern I had was that such a small amount of adhesive would provide too little physical strength under normal wear-and-tear on a hatchback window. So once the specialist conductive adhesive had dried I added an additional layer of Gorilla Epoxy adhesive over the top of the tabs and immediate surrounding area of element to form a little "bubble" of adhesive holding the tabs to the surrounding element. This cost a couple of £s extra but makes it a really strong bond that should be permanent.

Easy and quick repair
Always a bit dubious of these type of kits, but must admit it worked a treat!

Epoxy great, conductive not so much
After following the instructions, reattaching the demister connector was nice and easy, appears to be stuck incredibly well, after a day to cure I wanted to test the connection to ensure it worked as expected. Sadly could find no continuity between the demister. Tested the remaining adhesive compound and found the same lack of continuity, so not sure what’s going on there, but now have to try and resolve how to bridge the demister to the connector, which is a little frustrating.

Non conductive glue
Cack. Stuck fine but the glue is non conductive. Followed all the instructions and allowed to dry for 2 days before testing. Waste of money.

I wasn't convinced but it Actually Does Work!
Update on previous review. The other tab fell off a couple of weeks ago and I fixed it with this and some additional Gorilla Epoxy Resin around the tab for extra measure. Works perfectly!Essential to follow the instructions to the letter or it won't work.
