How long does it take to soak the strips for maximum flavor?

We recommend pouring feefi strips with hot water or broth (vegetable, mushroom) and soak for 10 minutes under the lid.
Check that the pieces are completely softened. If necessary, leave for another 5 minutes.

We understand that the level of softness depends on individual preferences. So, if you feel that you need more time to soften the strips, you can soak them up to 30 minutes, or until you are satisfied with the result.

Squeeze the strips well from the excess water/ broth.

Cook in any convenient way (fry, stew, bake) with any sauce and spices.

After soaking, 150 grams turn into 400 grams of the finished product. Cook with your favorite spices and in any way.

*Please keep in mind that feefi soy strips inflate via liquid absorption 4x times of its dry consistency.

Besides our 2–3-person meal-based meal, the recommended serving size for feefi strips that inflate via absorbing liquid 4 times their dry consistency can vary depending on personal dietary needs and preferences.

However, as a general guideline, you can calculate the appropriate serving size based on the protein content.

Our soy strips have 2.04oz (58g) of protein per 3.52oz (100g) serving, that means each gram of the soy strips contains 0.02oz (0.58g) of protein.

To get the amount of protein you want per serving, you can multiply the desired amount of protein, let's say 0.7oz (20g), by the protein per gram of soy strips of 0.02oz (0.58g).

0.7oz (20g) of protein / 0.02 oz (0.58g) of protein per gram = approximately 1.2oz (34.5g) of dried soy strips per serving
