Pleased so far
Had it up for almost two months. I live in central Alberta. My sensor to receiver is approximately 570 ft (173 m). I have thick rows of trees, an aluminum fence and shed, a shop with tin siding and roof plus the entire house structure between the two and it is functioning well. No false triggers or alarms. Easy to set up. Pleased with this purchase so far. +30° It's working so hopefully -30° it works just as well. Would recommend so far.

Super easy installation, Works flawlessly, You pay for quality products, Time will tell.
Car break-ins are rampant in the Atlanta metro area, so I installed this to alert me of any activity in my driveway during the night. It has only been installed now for 5 days, but has worked flawlessly with no false alarms. I have security cameras also, but if I activate them to motion alarms I get numerous false alarms during the night, so my cameras record continuously and I now depend on the Macros Solar Driveway Alert System to wake me in the event of any activity in my driveway. The solar charging works great so far, as the unit was about 50% charged when received and installed and is now fully charged after 5 days in just daylight, no direct sunlight.Update after 1 year:Product worked great for 10 months, with no false alarms, worked flawlessly. Then it began giving alerts on another channel that has no sensor. It will give alerts sporadically day and night, usually at least 3 or more alerts at a time on this channel that is not in use.The actually channel that is in use still works flawlessly, but with the annoying malfunction of the non used channel, I have had to shut the system down due to false alerts during the night, which is when I need it most.Wish it had continued working like the first 10 months as it started as a great product.Purchased late February 2020Update; I give eMacross 5 stars for there customer service and support for their products. After nearly a year with my original quality driveway alert, I began getting interference through the receiver. eMacross replaced the entire system with the new system that is paired together with eliminated the interference I was getting with the older system.Quality company with quality products that they fully stand behind.

Works good, nice clear chime
It sounds like a door bell. It's great. It picks up people and vehicles in our driveway. We gave the battery an initial charge as instructed in the directions. Since then. the solar panel keeps it going. Easy installation. And it has a sensor light, so you know when it sees movement. That is handy when setting it up. But the light does not attract attention, and the unit blends in very well. Planning on installing more units for different areas around the property.

A Great Value, Does the job, Expandable - not just a driveway alarm, many extras
From Manhattan to a small town in North CarolinaI used to park in a parking lot, for a princely $350 a month. Now at our new home, with a 1/4 mile paved driveway; it's nice to know when someone has entered my property. So, I started to search for a driveway alarm. Many here were just too costly, I'm not a cheapskate but insist on value for my retirement dollars. I wanted to know, in advance when someone was coming to my front door; that was the immediate need. Expand-ability was also important as my new home has multiple approach routes.Options are many, initially and at a later dateMy starting setup is using Zone One, as I left the defaults as delivered. Adding more to Zone One via additional Sensor units is allowed. Or, additional Sensor units can be assigned to Zones 2, 3, and 4. Each Zone emits a different chime so it is not necessary to look at the indicator lights on the Base Station.Understanding "range" - or in other words - how far it worksThe detection range is 20 or 30 feet, plenty to notice a car or a person. The 1/4 mile is the communications maximum from the Sensor to the Base Station that "sounds the alarm", with the ability to adjust the volume. Mine is set about an 1/8 of a mile from the house, my trees are many, but the signal punches thru. Some Nifty features that I really likeOf course the Sensors maintain their charge via sunlight or just daylight, but in the event that a Sensor is Not charged there is a low sensor warning light on the base station. The base station allows for installing 4 AA common batteries so the alarm system will become immune to a power failure (probably when crooks are most active). It's also nice to be able to take the base station (when on battery power) down to the garage when expecting a delivery. Most of the time the base station is powered using the supplied AC adapter and USB cable.Final ThoughtsIt's a home run on a price performance basis. Many others are far more expensive to do essentially the same thing, some even less - for more money. I also like that it's a "set it and forget it" system - once installed the kids will know when Santa is approaching. One sensor and one base station will not be enough for me. I plan to add more sensor units, utilizing the built in capability of the 4 zone base station. One correction to the manual, confirmed via their tech support - it IS permitted to have multiple sensors on the same zone. But, it is probably more useful to assign the first 4 sensors each to a different zone - to receive different alert tones from the various zones.

Good Product
I have had 4 of these they work great. Mine is 300 feet from my house and it works fine. The only problem i have had is sometimes they get moisture in them from the solar panel and go off alot when they are wet. I have gotten 1 replaced under warranty. So i have siliconed the edges of the solar panel before i put them out in the weather now to solve this. they last about two years.
