From bad to good
A good thriller where you never know what's next. No superfluous violence, thoughtless was violence, and no PDA's which I also found good. Very well written.

Good read.
Well written, enjoyable story. Wonderful characters and an easily believable storyline. This is my first Todd Borg book but it won't be my last. Thank-you!

A good mystery that kept me guessing till the end
A couple of violent scenes were a bit over the top.

ANOTHER FAVORITE OWEN McKENNA MYSTERY
Each new addition to my Todd Borg mystery collection brings great anticipation. What will this story be about? What subjects has he thoroughly researched that I'll learn about, and makes this another book so hard to put down? I will often avoid reading another chapter so this mystery will last longer. And I'm always sad when I come to the last page.TAHOE MOON was no exception. Owen happens to notice a little girl walking along the road carrying her skateboard as he drives to an appointment at a high end hotel. Why does she look so sad? Where are her parents? After his meeting he sees her still alone outside the hotel. He decides to stop and this leads to his next investigation into the suisides...or is it murders...of several people, including the little girl's grandfather. You'll have to read the book to learn what happens. You won't be disappointed. If you become addicted to Owen McKenna mysteries don't say I didn't warn you.

Must read
Tahoe Moon, like all Todd Borg’s mysteries, combines well researched factual expositions of relevant social issues with intriguing and compelling fictional plots. It’s a great way to learn. Thank you, Todd. I am also finding, especially in the last few books, that the main characters, Owen, Street, Diamond, etc., are better and better developed. I am gaining a deeper understanding of their personalities, and I like them more and more. On the other side of the coin, the “bad guys,” who play roles in all the books of the series, are each different in their own ways, but are all evil and worthy of hatred. In my view there is one important part about Tahoe Moon that separates it from the other books of the series. It is not the ending of the novel proper, which has the expected creative, enjoyable, and unexpected twist, where Owen figures out the killer and the motive. Rather, it is the epilogue, which captures the reader’s emotions, which will be the part of the book that will stay with the reader the longest, and which indisputably shows us Todd Borg’s maturity and growth as a first-rate author.
