Desktop Mini Cannon - Red w/ Brass Hardware

I ordered this as a christmas present for my dad to go on his boat. Their shipping was very quick and the cannon is perfect and exactly what I ordered. I can't wait to fire it.Just a note: the cannon is teeny tiny so don't be surprised if you buy one.

Super fun, but never got anything more than noise out of it.

Bought this as a gift and it has yet to be used succesfuly even after watching tutorial videos online. Wish it would at least fire a projectile, even if it didn't shatter a beer bottle

I saw this as I was checking out some Civil War cannons and I thought it might be a neat little display novelty. I really had no intention of firing it, but I obviously like the idea that it can be fired.Production quality is low. Looks home-made, or like something a kid would make in high school shop. There are lots of blemishes on both the aluminum carriage (highly visible scratches) as well as the steel barrel (indentations). Only one of the brass screws turns, I'm not sure if that is by design or not. The aluminum has sharp edges. There are no insignias and no product identification info on this product, not even a company name, adding to the amateurish effect. It comes with no accessories, supplies or peripherals, other than a one page instruction sheet. The box is a plain brown cardboard box with no production information or brand name.The cannon does have a nice weight to it.The Amazon listing description emphasizes the high quality. That is patently not true.Overall, this is simply too primitive a product to really be of any interest. They proudly broadcast that this is made in the USA, and that really depresses me; is this the best we can do?? This product merits no pride whatsoever. If this was made in China it would have cost just a fraction of what I paid for it, and perhaps be of better build.I'm going to send this back.

This item was purchased as a gift for someone who's favorite color was red, a blue cannon arrived. Recipient was dissappointed.

This is too cool !! And it works great!! It's a bit hard to find the fuse - Amazon should think about stocking that too.

Hello it's a desktop cannon. Need I say more.

I received the black-base version of this cannon for christmas this year. I was very careful and took my time following the proper and safe procedure to fire the cannon. It would not fire for the life of me. It took about eight tries to figure out how to work it. Following the advanced firing instructions, I added a little bit of cap gun powder and that helped. I got a couple good fires out of it. When loading what was supposed to be the last shot of the night the cannon misfired while I was packing the load. I was not ramming the round or being aggressive in any way. I was gently applying pressure with a q-tip (like recommended) and the cannon fired, causing powder burns on both hands, shrapnel cuts and severe damage to my left thumb. The pellet blew a groove through my thumb, obliterating the thumbnail and I got to spend five hours in the emergency room on christmas night. I highly recommend never firing one of these. The few seconds of excitement is not worth the deceptive amount of danger these have.
