Desktop Mini Cannon - Blue w/ Brass Hardware

Bought for my 15 year old but was frustrating as is comes with no directions and thru plenty of trial and error finally got it to some what regularly Fire. It seems you need to completely clean out between shots but is really fun when it does fire.

Considering the size of it, the thing is really well made. Sure, there are some tool marks, but these give it a little class. It's also a great conversation piece on my shelf.

Many pews have been had! If you never want some one to question if you pew or not, this is the mini cannon for you. It's gives the best pews if you use the little pop caps with some fine grade pew powder

We received the Pocket Cannon and were very disappointed in the performance. We used several different loads of black powder and could not repeat the results we saw on the video. The cannon fired but did not perform as advertised.

Pretty Cute. Well machined. Trying to find fuse to fit fuse hole is a bit challenging. Takes 1/16...2mm is a tad too big...

Great little piece of engineering

I saw this as I was checking out some Civil War cannons and I thought it might be a neat little display novelty. I really had no intention of firing it, but I obviously like the idea that it can be fired.Production quality is low. Looks home-made, or like something a kid would make in high school shop. There are lots of blemishes on both the aluminum carriage (highly visible scratches) as well as the steel barrel (indentations). Only one of the brass screws turns, I'm not sure if that is by design or not. The aluminum has sharp edges. There are no insignias and no product identification info on this product, not even a company name, adding to the amateurish effect. It comes with no accessories, supplies or peripherals, other than a one page instruction sheet. The box is a plain brown cardboard box with no production information or brand name.The cannon does have a nice weight to it.The Amazon listing description emphasizes the high quality. That is patently not true.Overall, this is simply too primitive a product to really be of any interest. They proudly broadcast that this is made in the USA, and that really depresses me; is this the best we can do?? This product merits no pride whatsoever. If this was made in China it would have cost just a fraction of what I paid for it, and perhaps be of better build.I'm going to send this back.

Ok i didnt buy this one but i did buy the silver one, They are exactly the same except for the color.This product is absolutely fantastic and it arrived on time. Its look did not dissapoint. First off since the cannon fuse is hard to find i will put a link to get it.http://paradisecurrency.com/index.php?p=product&id=151&parent=63(When you buy a fuse they will send it in an envelope and they will also put 5$ (5$ is also the cost of 1 bag of fuses) into the envelope for some reason. (Or at least they did for me))I actually ripped out the blackpowder from inside of a few of the fuses, You dont have to do this, you can buy gunpowder instead. There actually was a tub of gunpowder for sale that i did not want to buy because it had a 28 dollar hazardous material delivery fee. (note this was from a different seller).this cannon really DOES work, BUT it has to be very clean to fire.i have jammed it at least twice.in both cases a fuse did not burn fully but it burned enough to fire the cannon, therefore a small piece of fuse is jammed in the cannon's fuse hole this can be very hard to detect. i suggest after each firing you slide a paper clip throught the cannon and then blow into one end and see if air comes out the other end, if it doesn't your cannon is jammed.Here are the steps to load it1. make sure cannon is clear of all jams.2. slide a fuse into the top of the cannon.3. dump a bit of black powder into the cannon barrel.4. put a bb into the cannon front.5. push the bb into the barrel with a small but long object like a paper clip or twig, stop pushing the bb in when you feel resistance.6.light the cannon fuse and stand back.(did your cannon not fire? then you have a jam! go fix it!)for a stronger firing power do these steps1. make sure cannon is clear of all jams.2. slide a fuse into the top of the cannon.3. dump a bit of black powder into the cannon barrel.4. slide any number of (must be mad eof paper) cap gun caps into the barrel.4. put a bb into the cannon front.5. push the bb into the barrel with a small but long object like a paper clip or twig, stop pushing the bb in when you feel resistance.6.light the cannon fuse and stand back.(did your cannon not fire? then you have a jam! go fix it!)i hope this has been helpful, i seriously suggest buying thisI LOVE IT
