Being a big gaming fan (particularly FPS and stealth/shooter games), it is always good to have a mouse which gives you DPI ("dots per inch") options, for when you need to be that extra bit precise with the cursor positioning (sniping from range being the classic for me, personally). This mouse does the job really well, feels good in the hand and looks good with it.The mouse arrives in a cardboard box, with a booklet which is in Chinese unfortunately, so not a lot of help really. Fortunately, it's a computer mouse, not the star ship Enterprise, so all you have to do is plug it into a usb port, your computer tells you it is "installing usb optical mouse" and then away you go!It feels very nice in the hand, with the DPI a small red button on the top. To be honest, I thought initially I would keep catching the button with my palm, but it just hasn't happened. The change in "sensitivity" from what you would normally use to higher a DPI, when you push the button, is immediate and very good. I found the 800-2000 range more than enough for me, personally.The left and right buttons work well, with a nice "click". The middle "mouse 3/scroll wheel" also works very smoothly.It works smoothly on any number of different surfaces and the connecting cable is about 5 feet long (about 150 cm), so you have plenty of flexibility to sit a little bit back from your keyboard, or if your usb port are on the "wrong" side for your choice of hand.In terms of look, it has back-lit blue chevrons along both sides, the mouse wheel is also lit (purple) from inside and there is a small "blue man" emblem on the top, which slowly lights and fades (in blue). I particularly like the "dragon" symbol near the back, which cycles through a variety of colours when not being used.Of course, you can also just use this as a rather snazzy, well made, "normal" mouse, too!I received this product for free in return for an honest and unbiased review.-------
