Boy from Seville

The Boy from Seville was purchased for the Jewish Children's Folkshul of Philadelphia for its library and as the children's selection of One Book, One Jewish Philly in 2010-11. It was adequate for the purpose of teaching 4th through 6th graders about the expulsion of Jews from Spain in the 15th century but was poorly written as a novel. It provided, at best, a start to a discussion with the children about their Jewish history.
