It has that wonderful quality of details in there, sights and smells become real and you can transport yourself to the camp. My heart was actually pounding through the tense scenes and in my head I was chanting *get out of there* (I usually reserve that for movies) Beautifully descriptive, the friendships were so well explained and written you can immediately see parallels between them and your own friendship with your best friend. My favourite characters were Janessa and Luke. Innocent romance is so sweet. My favourite part of the book was the twist, of course I am not going to tell you what it is, but its a good one, teaches you never to judge a book by its cover, or the content you have read so far. I knew exactly where this book was going, how it was going to end, I had it all worked out. WRONG! lol,This book, for me is a must read. It has everything you could possibly want in a book. Rock stars, music, first love, innocence, fear, paranoia. Nothing is as it seems. . The very best part for me, is there is more to come, YES, there is to be a book 2, and from the blurb I read about book 2, it will be awesome. What's more, 10% of the sales from book one is going to a schools marching band, so you can feel good that when you purchase this book, you are also donating to a great cause. Now what's not to like about that. Go buy this book, you will not be disappointed.
