Does the job, but with a bit of bother and not for all shoes
Works for some shoes, doesn't work for others. Works for shoes that have quite soft uppers, as you need to push the shoe insert part in quite hard, since the shoe inserts are fairly short. Doesn't work for sandals or shoes with gel cushions for the front sole (e.g. Party Feet). Also means you get your hands dirty as you have to grip the soles of the top shoe to fit it on the insert. But when secured in the shoes, the inserts hold them quite well and do save space.
