My hair looks great!
I heard about Rhassoul clay 2 months ago. I just tried this today for the first time. I'm putting shampoo behind me and using R. Clay and apple cider vinegar to rinse. You will see in my photo that my hair has volume and natural curl after using this product. It was only my first time using it, so I hope it gets even better over time. I'm so glad I ordered it. Will definitely purchase again!

Leaves skin smooth and bright
Left skin feeling smooth and bright. Works like a traditional clay mask. Can also be used on the hair. There was no fragrance. Made in Morocco. Made of 100% Moroccan Volcanic Rhassoul Clay.I rated a four because there were no clear instructions other than to mix powder with water or rose water to form a silky paste. Brush or rub into face or hair scalp as a mask. Leave to dry out before washing off.I started off by using about a tablespoon of the lava clay and mixing with a little water at a time to form a silky paste. It made just the right about for covering the face. Should last a long time measuring this amount out each time. I let it dry on my face about 20 minutes. It did dry hard and cracked when I moved my mouth and cheeks. It washed off easily and did leave my face smooth and bright. I applied a moisturizer to my face after washing off and patting face dry.I always like to do a little research on the products I put on my face. The Morooccan Volcanic Rhassoul Clay is considered by many as a detoxifying mask. Because the clay is rich in magnesium and potassium, it allegedly draws out toxins from the skin. However, according to the article I read, if you have an allergy to metallic elements like aluminum or magnesium, you should avoid using this type of clay.

Very lumpy
The clay is very muddy. Very hard to wash it off. Takes a lot off time to remove it. Very sticky. I dont say it is bad but very hard to clean. I will have to mix it with kaolin clay.

Is a nice product
The first time I used it I think I used too much it comes off slow , as it should. Although it was in expected. Left skin soft and pores clean. I have been spot treating since or using before shower as to simplify the removal.

A “NO” For Me, But Others May LOVE
I didn’t like all the mixing that I had to do to get this to the applicable consistency. I also, personally didn’t like the “muddy” feel of this on my face. I prefer having something that can simply be applied, without having all the “prep” and “clean up” that this required.Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend, unless you’re a person who enjoys or doesn’t mind a whole “process”. It was a “No” for me, but I can imagine others may LOVE. Once it’s off, it does leave the skin feeling “purified”. I think some may also like the “drama” of the “process”.

Caused No Reaction
I was leary of trying this “FERIHA Moroccan Rhassoul Bio Clay Mask Powder” because I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. However, this Rhassoul Clay Mask has no chemical additives or preservatives—it is only volcanic clay, so I decided to try it on my neck, just in case I had a reaction. The recommended usage says to mix the powder with water, or rose water, to form a silky paste. I put 1/2 teaspoon of the bio clay mask powder into a small bowl and added about 1/2 teaspoon of water. I applied the paste to my neck but had a lot left over, so I decided to go ahead and put the mask on my face, as well. The mask dried quickly and I left it on for maybe 10 minutes. The mask caused a nice drawing up of the skin, so I looked years younger with it on. I washed the mask off with warm water and could see a noticeable difference. My fine lines (some might refer to them as wrinkles), look diminished on both my forehead and jowl, but not as much on my neck…. My face is typically oily, but it felt dry after I removed the mask, which prompted me to apply marula oil. My face turned red after the mask, but no hives or swelling appeared. Upon further research of Rhassoul clay masks, I found that you should only leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes, and to remove it before it completely dries. Reddening of the face is normal after using the clay mask and should subside within 30 minutes, which mine did. I also found that you can use the Rhassoul clay mask on a regular basis…. All-in-all, I really like the affects of this Moroccan Rhassoul Bio Clay Mask and will definitely be using it again. With only needing 1/2 teaspoon of powder per facial mask, this bag should last me a good long time.

Head to Toes Whole Body Mask!!
I've heard good thing about Moroccan Lava Clay before. I just did Head to Toes Entire body mask with this product!Didn't really say the ratio powder : water (rose water), so I added warm water little by little to the powder till became paste.I put some on my hair but clay took all my conditioner away so I had to use conditioner afterward. My skin got so Smoother and Softer, I could tell right after rinsing it off. Even for my sensitive skin, no irritation. Since I have oily skin, I can use up to three times a week. For dry skin, once a week.Clay dried up in about 15min.Smells little muddy and looks very brown but I really enjoyed the product and can't wait to use it again!

FOOT DE-TOX!
I've been using this clay on the soles of my feet. Clay can draw toxins (or so I've read) and so I've taken to using it once a week for this purpose. It feels nice and it also leaves the soles of my feet softer! It's a nice relaxing "self-spa" thing to do, and the price point is a good value.
